There's this guy I want to go to grade nine farewell with, but I'm not sure if I should make the first move. We talk and we're friends, but I'm not sure if he likes me or not.
Should I ask him, or just wait? Farewell's in another week(?) so, I'll have to do it soon. And if I do ask, should I just come straight out and ask?
I know, but the last time I "made the first move" the guy avoided me for about three months. Honestly, it was so overly dramatic. I didn't confess my undying love for him or anything, I just told him I had feelings for him.
ANYWAY, should I just be like, "Hey, A! You wanna go to the dance with me?" It sounds stupid, considering the fact that it's just a dance, but I'm nervous. I have no bloody idea what to do. At all.
Would it not be better to take a risk and get rid of the what if's than waste your time worrying about the what if's?
orangeyxlove - OK. I'm just really nervous, because I've never done anything like this before. =S Never asked anyone else, or had anyone ask me out.
guysinger20 - Wow. That was deep. o-o Mind if I quote it?
OK, I'm going to do it. Probably tomorrow, before I loose my nerve. Oh my goodness, I'm freaking already. Thank you for all the advice. I'll post again to just let everyone know what happened.
Wish me luck! ^///^''
You can quote it all you want.
I am pretty sure I heard that exact line from someone else.
Yet, I agree with it 100%
OK. I did it. It was awkward and embarrassing, but I did it. I didn't really get an answer thought. He just said, "Maybe."
haha, awkward teenaged boys :P gotta love their stupid self-conscious answers. good job that you took the chance though :) hope you enjoy the dance too.
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
orangeyxlove - Thanks. :D As stupid as it sounds, I'm actually pretty proud of myself.
Kafka - Even if he says no, I'll still have a great time. I'm gonna go crazy. It's my last year here, so what do I have to lose? :P I wish he'd just give me a damn answer though. It's kind of driving me nuts. He still hasn't gotten back to me and the dance is on Thursday. Ah, well. Like I said before, I'll still have fun.
Go for it! If he's r friend the worst he would probably do would be to say no. He won't ignore you for 3 months like the last guy. Plus it's only a dance and you'd never know if it would be something great at the dance. I would be as nervous as heck, but what's a girl going to do right?
@.@ "You've got a hand? A hand in a jar? A hand, in a jar, in your bag!" @.@
