Person posts high amount on art auction

Bidding war starts between them and another

Gets up to 55mil

Gets frozen

Toxy talks to the other bidder and decides to reset it back to BEFORE said frozen user started bidding with them to 9 mil

It's very disheartening ;-;

I have to go back and fix a lot of stuff and tell people who thought that they were out that this happened. People already think they're out so they probably wont bother coming back to look

i guess it's better that they were frozen before the auction ended rather than after.

I'm not saying that your art is bad in any way, but it's possible that the frozen person had their money illegitimately and bidded high because of their unfairly high SP? :s

I was thinking exactly what Collage was thinking.

Something seems fishy about that situation. I highly doubt they even had 55 million sP to begin with. I've been seeing a lot of ridiculous stuff like this going on in the art forums lately, and I think it's on purpose to mess up the artist's auction, or so the artist will accept, draw the picture, and the person will take it without paying because they don't have the sP. At least that's what I gather, since there was another complaint (I think it was Nine's thread?) about art thieving.

Well it was 3500 CSC + some sp to make up the 55 mill total (i count the credits as their sp value to try and cut down confusion for the sp bidders)

But yeah -_- the mess bugs me the most still... -pulls out virtual dust pan-

I dont have much experience with auctions so i just thought it was someone trying to scare off other bidders ^^'

Oh and i dont take offense at all unless its worded like OMFG YOUR ARTS SO FUCKING UGLY ITS NOT WORTH ANYMORE THEN 2 SP or something like that >.>

Oh, they were bidding in CSC? There seems to be duping lately, a nice mess of it, so I guess you got caught up in that? That sucks, though. :(

I'm so sorry, Kate. That's awful to have happened. I'm am glad, though, that the person was frozen so you didn't have to get ripped off with false sP/items.

Once I get some of my (USD) funds back up, I'll totally be adding you to my (slow growing) collection of art slaves. :P
