Do you spoil your animals rotten? I do.

I've got a Pem. Corgi who is almost two, and he is the smartest thing in the world. Well I think he has gotten accustomed to his pampered life!

I was looking at him today while laying on one of MY blankets that I let him sleep on, and he huffed at me! He friggin' huffed at me! I'm assuming he was mad, because he wasn't on the bed.

So I started thinking about how he huffs when he doesn't get his way. Like when I don't immediately take him outside in the morning. He'll huff at me then and lay at my feet until his harness is on.

Call me crazy but he KNOWS!

My mom always buys my cats toys.

The thing is that they don't play with the expensive toys, yet they'll spend hours toying around in a box. xD

Well, when i still had my Chihuahua i did. My family and I would spoil him to death. Treats and toys would always make him happy. =)

Tomo enjoys being outdoors, hunting, going on walks in his pram, playing with his toys, and eating cat treats. Tomo also has an outdoor summer house. We call it his dacha. (: Tomo is also the owner of an extensive wardrobe. He doesn't really like his clothes though.

Haha. Also Tomo is named after 30 Second's To Mars guitarist Tomo Milicevic. It's a Croatian name, short for Tomislav. He's actually the guy in my forum signature down there.. I'll try to get a better picture.

I thought Tomo was the cutest name ever and it really fit him.

Tomo's nicknames are 'Tome' and 'Bunny'. The neighbors always think we're calling for a rabbit when we call him. :P

I find people who spoil their pets rotten as annoying as people who spoil their kids rotten....

Whenever my dog huffs at me or gets testy I backhand that motherfucker.

You bet I spoil my dogs rotten. I love my babies.

And if you backhand you dog, I hope he/she bites the shit out of you one day. How could you hit something that loves you no matter what?

Yes, our cat and dog are spoiled. I guess that's what happens when all three of the kids are spoiled too. :P

Oreo, our dog, sleeps wherever she wants (always with my mom and dad at night) and 99% of the time if she barks enough at someone for food, she'll get it.

We try to spoil our cat, Molly, but she doesn't really care about anything but water, food, clean litter, and perhaps a box or two to play with once in a while.

And I get what you mean about your dog being smart and the "...he KNOWS!" part. My cat is super smart and she knows exactly how to bother everyone in the family. And most of the time it's just for attention (and not food or water). When we yell her name or walk towards her, when she's bugging us, she just gives this expression: o_o I know she knows what she's doing.

My family and I still love them both though. Lol.

Well not as much as some others xD but yeah a little. Our cat is a little old... well very old. She doesn't has teeth anymore so we just feed her everything she doesn't have to bite on - food we didn't eat at dinner, food we didn't want to eat at dinner, eggs, cheese and more.

Every evening she sits with one of us and we just pet her... until she doesn't want to anymore. She doesn't have to sleep outside anymore, although every now and then we let her outside (XD sometimes she doesn't want to, but eh.. it's fresh air, it's good for her). She just doesn't have to do a lot of things herself anymore. Before, when she still had teeth, we didn't feed her because she was very good at catching mice.. but now we just have to ^^ and she loves it.

This is an "Ohai. I didn't know you were coming home so early." look if I ever saw one. xD

And as for the original topic, yes, yes I do. :)

Unfortunately I do. But the only pet I have is a Hamster.

So I guess it's a little bit ridiculous xD.

I don't know, I mean I give them fuckloads of attention and adequate care, but I don't go to the extents of some people. For example, I don't give them shit on their birthdays...I see it as fairly pointless as they haven't got a clue about birthdays - so why not just give them treats any other day of the year? It makes no difference to them.

Both of our dogs sleep on my bed and night, and are allowed to sit on one of our couches, but that's about it. They don't wear clothes or get presents or anything like that.
