Well, I saw on Myspace last night that my friend had fractured her foot and was on crutches. I kinda laughed about it and said it was because of all the piercings and tattoos she's gotten within the past month (six tattoos and two piercings).

I go to leave from Shaun's house, and I managed to step wrong off of the curb. Needless to say, I now have what looks like a second ankle on my right leg, and am on crutches, and I have to wear this nasty little air splint that makes my leg sweat buckets.

I can't work; I can't walk; I can't ride my bike; I can't even drive.

Not broken, just badly sprained. The ER doctor said it could take weeks to completely heal.

Until then, I'm supposed to wear that stupid splint and use crutches until the pain goes away.

oh gosh. i can't imagine. i've had a broken ankle, it is horrible. it DOES take a long time to heal. your injury sounds really bad. i'm sure it's painful. take good care while you are nursing it. ^_^

I actually fell off the curb 2 weeks ago onto the highway while I was walking to the bus stop. I hurt my knees XD They were bloody when I checked them later.

Nothing was bloody on me, thank god. Just really huge and pointy. The neighbors came out to see what was going on and the wife kinda just like...stood there.

Awesome way to meet my boyfriend's dad's neighbors, haha.

They seemed nice though. They gave Shaun ice to put on my ankle.
