I wasn't sure if it would be too distracting if I used or to match the tufts. Any suggestions on other parts of my HA are welcome as well. =]

No, you should try it... but to tell you the truth, I hardly notice the tuftson your shoes so it wouldnt be easy to tell that you were color coordinating.

I think that if you started to add cream you would have to add more than one item. i would just leave it.

Well, I'm extremely OCD when it comes to HA matching. Thus, I'd say definitely try to match it via small accents, or take the shoes off. I'm really nit-picky, though.
