I'm in need of a laptop, and I happened to find that one on sale in the mall, I don't really know anything about emachines though. I wouldn't need it for any high tech gaming or anything, just for surfing the web and school is all its needed for. I don't want to spend too much money as I am going on a trip soon Please help :)

If you're only going to use it for internet and school, it sounds like a good laptop to choose. But, are you looking for a large screen? Like a dell laptop screen? -has dell laptop-

15'6 isn't too bad, its just slightly smaller than my moms computer monitor which is fine. I would LOVE a dell laptop but Dell's are so expensive! :x

I wouldn't recommend Dell just from personal experience.

My boyfriend has an Acer laptop and not even a year later, its pretty much crapped out.

Almost $100 less and pretty much the same thing

If you can help it, dont buy from stores like circut city. Those places are stupidly overpriced.

Im not sure what your price range is but just look around on Newegg.

Yeah... Maybe you should consider a netbook. They're on the smaller side- mine is 10 inches, but there's a smaller 8" screen, too. They run only a couple hundred- I got mine for $330.
