Okay, so yesterday, I was sitting on a beanbag, studying for the LSAT (law school exam). I pulled open one of the nightstand drawers to grab some post-it notes, and a few minutes later, this wooden picture (at least 5 pounds) comes crashing down and hits me square in the shoulder blades...
Now, there's nothing strange about this, except for the way the picture was positioned... It was at an angle, leaning against the wall, so any force I made pulling the drawer open, should have made the picture fall backwards.. INSTEAD, it fell OVER two 500-600 page books, knocked over my water glass.. yet somehow managed to not crack open my skull :s
I drew a picture for illustrative purposes:

:s... Yea..
Anyone else have any annoying injury stories that defy logic =_=

LOL that picture made me laugh XD
I don't have any stories :(
Sweet pic, man. ;)
And no, no injuries that defy logic... My life is so boring. :P
And is there a multi-topic glitch going on or something?
When I broke my ankle, I guess it didn't come out of place at all. But it was weird because I thought my bone was going to pop out since it was so bent. :[
And wtf, why do you have such cute MS Paint art? :(
Man, that's weird. It's almost like it was attacking you...

I needed that diagram to understand how the woodblock defied the laws of physics and attacked you. xD It's like it was all, "Olook. Lin is studying. I'm gong to eat her head. :D jumps" I swear, stuff does that to me all the time. x3
Wow. That is weird. =O It's out to get you!
Uh... the only story I can think of isn'treally defying a law. My friend was attacking me with a water gun, and as I ran away to hide she shot the water high in the air to get me. But the wind blew and the water came and smacked her in the face instead.
I told her it was karma. xD
Great illustration there, lol. I'm glad to hear that it didn't crack your skull open.
Probably my strangest injury was having several of the books on my nightstand fall over onto my head, during my sleep. Needless to say I was rather caught off-guard by that strange occurrence. Other than that, I think I just have a talent for tripping over my own pajama pant legs. x_x

Ok, just have to say it. I didn't really believe in ghosts or weird stuff until I was sitting on my couch and watched my tool box which was sitting on a shelf gently slide out and splatter all over the floor. That didn't hurt me, but still odd.
Yeah, I remember once i tripped over a big piece of wood stuck in the ground. (A stake holding up a tent. I looked down and i had this huge gash in my leg, but it didn't bleed at all.
I constantly twist my ankles and injure myself walking on flat ground in a straight line. That could just be inherent clumsiness though. :(
Oooh, I had an injury-thing that defied logic, it's just I can't really remember it...
It involved something falling from my dresser though...
I GOT IT!
I had this pretty painted seashell on top of my dresser, no where near the edge, and one day, I walked into my room, walked out, heard a thump/smash, went back in, and saw the shell had fallen off of my dresser and onto the CARPETED floor, and managed to shatter. O_o
LMAO! That picture just made my day.
I wish I had stories like that to share. ):

Nice. xD That sounds odd. I hope it didn't hurt too much. And I can't recall any exciting, logic-defying injuries. It's sad. Oh. o.o; Well, there was this incident where I was sitting at a picnic table, and a taco fell in my lap, and I flipped backwards, landing on my feet. I can't do flips. D8 Oh, and then the taco landed on the plate perfectly in my lap.
