Ok, so I wanna know what the general population thinks of my profiles. @-@;

These are my newest ones. All done within a couple days. They're freebies and one is an actual commission. c: When I code these, I can make them hover, as well as do buttons and just about any bell and whistle that someone wants. Keep that in mind because I know a lot of people like the bells and whistles that you can't always see on a profile image.

So yeah, ratings and critique on what I could make better would be awesome. c: Maybe even tell me how much I should charge? I've been charging one mill, but these take anywhere from 1 hour to 2 (if juices and parents allow me disrupted lol), excluding code because I change things as I go until I get it--in my opinion--good enough. So it just seems like a lot of work for only one mill. Especially considering that coding is 30 min - 1 hour. So yeah. @-@; I put work into these--does it show? D8

I like them! The main point of annoyance for me, though, is the text - particularly with LAId's - it looks a bit raw and unfinished from the preview.

I think you could charge a bit more than 1m, maybe two? + more for hover, though I personally dislike profiles which say 'hover here', it feels silly to me.

And once you code a bit more, you can go a lot faster. :)

Yeah--I'm ok witht he graphics but my weak point has always been fonts. I'm terrible with them.

Butbutbut--how do you know where/if to hover? D8 Besides, I'm nice--I say please. lol kidding.

I code all the time--I just get distracted easily, that and I get done and then decide that I don't like the link/other/etc color so I have to change it. :x

I know you have to put hover here if there is one, so that's why I reserve hover effects for buttons and such. :P

I have trouble with fonts too, but I just go download new ones every now and then. Adding effects like glowing helps as well.

Hehe, I'm not so picky with coding - I much prefer black or white, plain, with highlight colours as links :)

Also was glad to see you figured out how to get rid of plain backgrounds :P

Ooooh, gotcha. Yeah--but I just like hovers in general. @ They're cute. And fun to play with--not so much code. |D

Glowing takes forever for me, I have to do the paths with GIMP so I normally shy away from it--maybe I shouldn't. :P

I'm fancy when it comes to coding--the small things make my insides warm and fuzzy. :P But I don't get what you mean by getting rid of plain backgrounds? D| /tired

Have you not got the 'Path from text' option in your text tool? It takes no time XD

I'd say you could get about 2mil + extra for hover (as Dior said!). I get that for mine, and if you feel like you put the work in, then it definately shows.

As for suggestions; Play around with the backgrounds more. Add a patch of pattern here, or a few bold lines there. It adds depth and may give you a chance to add some other colours around too. Like Profile . The brsuhes add more depth to the image. To make text a bit more fancy try adding a glow like Dior said, or again, download lots of fonts - they can be very helpful! Also an effect I quite like to use is Motion Blur. Duplicate the text layer and blur the one underneath. If you do it right, it can like really nice :).

I really like the 2nd profile though, it all fits together very nicely :D.

It seems like a common pricing--so that's probably what I'll try. c:
