I've been in an art slump for about a month now, and I'm forcing myself out of it so I'm trying to draw my HA. I acutally like how the messy sketch came out. Might make her bust a little larger to show she's chubby, or make it smaller and show a little of her torso. Either way, I'm pretty sure I'll at least clean it up if not finish it.

Thoughts?

Like I said, the lips and nose are fantastic. While it applies to both, the lips especially stick out so the face doesn't look flat.

If you're taking critique, really the only thing I can complain about is the visibility of the eyebrows behind the hair, but since this is sketch I realize you probably left it like that for reference.

Right on the nose, m'boy. I can't ink them later without a reverence as to wear the meet with the hair. The same goes with the eyes. Seeing such things through the hair makes little sense to me.

The face looks a bit too short to me. Although I'm probably biased since I draw my faces longer. :/ It's a really lovely pic. You have a wonderful style~

Thanks. I draw faces long on certain characters. I was aiming to make hers look more chubby and round. Generally the characters I draw longer faces on are males.

I think your WIP is great! maybe you should make the hands visible? or the fingers atleast, other than that, its amazing :D

I'll toy with it, I'm inking it at the moment. But initially her fluffy shawl was giving me trouble, trying to find a way to make her arms show and keep it up. I'll see if I can change it a bit.

Finished inking. I definitely plan to color it. I added hands, though one of them is hidden slightly by fluff and tassels.
