i've been entering avatar contests a bit lately and doing horribly. i used to do well, and i'm not a sore loser, i'm just don't know what sucks about my entries. avatar contests are one of the main things i like to do on the site. so i'm going to post ones that i've really liked recently that didn't get me anything and i'd like some opinions. :)

this contest i made a lot of entries for (because it was an easy theme and fun). it was a 10 layer specific item contest, plus a color scheme was mandatory.
