Welcome Penny! Well, beanbags are not the only things profitable, but as they are collectable like plushies, and they get you achievements, I guess it keeps the prices up! As for the pets, you can buy potions to change your pets (which can be expensive too), or you can zap them and get lucky!

Beanbags are profitable 'cause people put them in their Beanbag Collections---and once they're put IN the collection, you can't take them out again. So, they're rather in high demand. x3
