You find a Watermelon

I don't know about you, but this amuses me. Even knowing all the other weird stuff that you can get on that tree, I get something relatively normal. :P

I prefer to think of the watermelon as growing on an evil parasitic watermelon vine that is able to climb the heights of Ikdomakenorux (instead of flopping over as a real watermelon vine would do) due to the low gravity on Atebus. Since it's malicious tendrils are so closely locked into our favorite intelligent tree, and because it is so weird a tree in the first place, we just don't notice there's two (or more) different plants when we pick.

This reminds me, I need to finish eating the watermelon in the frige XP

Well ther's lots of other weird things grow on it so why not :p lol I assume the air is a lot different up on the moon... makes weird things grow... in weird places

I'm not sure the last time I got a watermelon, but you're right real food rarely comes from that tree.
