Honestly, the Reading Contest just started and everyone is ALREADY turning their books in. Therefore making the site lag like hell for a normal user such as myself.

Yes, I do have some books stored for the book drive, but it's not going to make any difference if I hand them in now or later! But if I hand them in later, it means less hassle and waiting around.

I just don't get it, why can't anyone wait like a day? D:. Is anyone else peeved at the site lag, just because of the Book Drive?

I have about 400 books waiting and it's going to take ages with the site as it is now. But I'm thinking this is noting compared to the last few hours before it ends. ): I think people are hurrying because they just want to see it all there on the page. xD Personally that's why I want to get mine in quicker.

I didn't even think that everyone turning in books was causing the lag and the numerous 'error' messages I'm getting. I don't get why people would turn them in all at once /:

There's really nothing we can do about it though so I think I'm just gonna take a break from Subeta the rest of the day, lol. Hopefully everything calms down by tonight/tomorrow/day after. :k

That's true. I want to donate mine but I'm just gonna wait a few days I think. It's just soo annoying that I can barely even browse the forums now, let alone quests or anything like that!

The shop doesn't even open for another 2 weeks -_-. I suppose if this major lag is over by tomorrow, though. That's probably a good thing, and hopefully it won't be too bad from then on!

I thought the lag had something to do with the server switch? But I wouldn't be surprised if it was because everyone and their dog (myself included, guilty guilty) were rushing to turn in all of their books.

As you can see, Keith found a way to fix the lagging ^_^ It was just like hamlet said, mostly because of the server switch and then the huge traffic from the drive while not everything was completely done.

I turned mine all in because, knowing me, I would forget. It's on my mind now, so I went ahead and turned them in.

I'm not too sure if it was the Server Switch - I was on about 10 hours ago or so and the sites been working fine up until the Drive was announced..! But I suppose massive load on the new server would make sense, but then they shouldn't announce it if it's not totally finished!

Is the site working a bit faster now then? That's a start!

Some of us have been working really hard for a long time to collect all the books. Excuse our excitement at being able to finally turn them in. It is an accomplishment.

I only turned in 20 of my books today. I don't see the point of putting in all 400 books so quickly, you can't even use the points until July 1st.

I don't know about anyone else, but I adored the reading drive last year, and when I heard there was a second one I started hoarding books.

I'm turning mine in as I type this. I guess it's just excitement!

I got all 431 of my books in already xD And if you think about it, If we all turn in our books tomorrow, then it will still lag tomorrow. ;)

I have turned all of my books in. All 300+ of them. It was quite easy actually. All you have to do is click on each book really fast, without waiting for loading times and such. It accepts them all at once and then it's done.

I am doing the same thing- waiting to turn my books in. They have been sitting in my vault for long enough, it doesn't matter if they sit in there a little while longer. :P I would personally rather not deal with the lag and possible error issues and do it another time. We have plenty of time left, afterall.

Well, I started doing them right away, because I won't be here for the last week of the deadline. I'm just getting it out of the way before dance doesn't give me anytime, seeing as we have two major competitions soon. And recital.

Yeah it's lagging so much , I don't think it has to do very much with the server switch, because yesterday I was only during the switch , and clicking around the website was so insanely fast (25x faster) it was great . I have a feeling that the lagging relates to the reading drive . I would rather hand in the books later, or twenty books a day or so, rather then bombard the servers with mass amounts of books in one day .

Oh, heh. Um, I already turned in all 327 of my books ^^; I noticed the site was lagging a bit, so I let up on the clicking for a few minutes xD I guess I just wanted to get them out of the way, or something. :P At least I already decided what I want to get, and I'll have a decent amount of points left over for making extra money too ^^

Its slowly..moving my items..to my inventory ._. Slooowwwwwlllyyyy.

But at least the book drive is finally here..YAY! Almost 400 books..only 14 more to go and that Malice will be MINE! (maybe..i have to see all the items and wearables before I can truly decide e_e!)
