I just finished this up, I kind of like it, figured I'd get an opinion or two...

Balsac, Jaws of Death.

I'm not looking for extremely harsh critique... I know, that makes me sound super-whiny, but keep in mind, I'm a fifteen year old girl, I can be sensitive sometimes. D:

Really nice blending with the markers there! The only thing I'd try and work on is the contrast with different surfaces. The metal + furry parts should have brighter highlights and darker shadows due to the nature of the materials, like on the hair and skull. :P

Thank you! I had a really hard time with the grays, the pens I used weren't Copics, but really low-quality brush pens, I was fighting them the whole way. D;

I'm thinking of going back with a white gel pen and adding some brighter highlights, but I'm a little scared I'll mess it up entirely. x:

I love the white gel pen look, but I agree with your hesitation in that it might not be the best for this picture. :P You're really good with markers for a 15 year old!

So do I, for the most part, but I'm really unsure with the medium - I've only successfully used Gel pens once or twice. Hah. I'll practice a little more before I go and screw up this picture. P: And thanks again! The turnout usually looks at least a little better, but my skin-colored pens are running way dry. D;

:'D Thanks some more! I did a little work on it, but I'm too lazy to scan, lawl. I changed the outline from yellow to purple and defined the shadows in the furry bits a little more.
