Trying to experiment a bit now that summer's started, so I've whipped up a sketch.

I would really appreciate any suggestions for color schemes/background(PLEASE HELP ME OMG) and constructive criticism on the weird top-down perspective pose/anatomy. ❤

cutee! but as for the perspective, i think perhaps tucking that one leg that's out there (the right one, our left leg) might help with the inverted triangular perspective you seem to be trying to achieve. right now it looks a tad unbalanced.

edit: wtf it posted before i was done. uhm. make the neck a bit thinner and you should be ok, btw 8D it looks good so far.

as for color schemes...is she like...a navy girl?

Uh. :/ To me, she seems very, very short. Are we looking at her from the top point of view? If so, then I would say that her legs be a bit smaller. The main problem seems to be the legs, so you could work on that. Like, I think her right leg is moved too far away...

I was going to say her legs look really short.

Beautiful detail though. I love the hair!

Your anatomy is very good though. :)

I really like this... the only thing I may mention is that the fingers on the hands are the same length as the thumb... so they look a little stubby. :<

And the top-down perspective isn't very noticeable... like it wasn't done at such an extreme that is noticeable. Diginova did an excellent job of showing you what the problem is. :3

Overall very good! Loove the details and you do excellent anatomy~

I really love the details, especially the hair, wow. o: I'm too inexperienced in perspective myself so I can't help you there. XD Good work so far. Can't wait to see this when it's completed!

I hate to be excessively demanding, but any colors/background suggestions at all? D: Struggling with the background especially.

As for colour suggestions, some part of me wants dark purple or burgundy and gold, or a combination of the three, but I don't think it'll look very good ^_^; (For the outfit, I mean). And for the hair, maybe a nice blonde or a rich chestnut colour? She looks like a navy girl, so any navy like colours would work, I guess.

It depends on who she is. :O
