I don't know how many people know, but I have a 6 year old Autistic daughter, who I have struggled to toilet train over the past 2 years.
This is try number 8 :P
I believe we have finally made a breakthrough. Albiet, not completely trained, we have made significant progress.
I have gotten Mackenzie, over the past 2 weeks to have bowel movements ON the toilet, she is also doing it at school as well!
GO JESS!!
(uhh yeah, my poor kid has two names, actually she has 5 but that's neither here nor there. Her real name being Mackenzie-Jessica. Okay I'm rambling now)
Needless to say, i am so proud of my little girl, and I honestly think the worst part is over for us with this issue!
Its such a relief to not have to wipe her ass anymore.
ahhaha, wow, congrats on that! i can only imagine what a struggle that is -___-
:3
congrats! I can't imagine how difficult that would be, but it's great that you're making progress. Every little step counts, right?
Congrats :D Like CheesyGrins said: every little step counts. But just 1 in the right direction can make you feel so much better!

Thanks guys!
I will tell you, its not easy training a normal child xD But I'm just so relieved that the hard part is over.
I just wanted to say that I've always found your story with your little girl so very touching. I'm glad to hear that you two are doing well. :) Congrats to the both of you.
I got your back Jack, bitches be crazy.
I'm happy for you. I couldn't imagine having to take care of a child with Autism.
You should be proud of yourself for making it so far, before you know it things might really start getting better.
I watch that show Autism X6, it made me look up to those with children like that. You have to be so strong for it, I would have such a hard time myself.
It was bad when she was little and couldn't talk at all, but now she's growing up.
Fast :P
She can read like a trooper now. Better than my son did at that age. I don't even know HOW she learnt. I'm serious. I didn't teach her. Then one day she just read something and I almost pissed myself. Then encouraged her by shoving books into her face everyday.
Seductive- Thank you, kind words truly help me along those rough days we still have now and then. That honestly means so much to me. ❤
