I'm sorry if this has been asked or if the answer is in an obvious place, but, when were names deleted and what was the criteria for them to be deleted?

I noticed a name I had been stalking for 2 years, that was scheduled to be deleted anytime between August - October, is now taken. And of course the user hasn't been on since joining.

So, anyone know when the last big clearing was, if there was one?

I believe there was a clearing a month or so ago.

I don't know about the criteria though. :(

For inactive accounts to be cleared they need to have been inactive for at least 12 months, I believe. Sucks I know, but that's how it is, haha.

Janet - Are you talking about the one that happened towards the end of April? Or one that actually was a month ago? xD Because you know, that could've been it.

hamlet - I know. :( Which is why it was due to be erased in around September.

xD Probably the one in April, I guess. Time flies. But I remember there were a lot of username brag boards made...and there seems to be a lot around the earlier two weeks of June.

I wouldn't advise a 'what should my new name be' topic...people are silly and may steal suggestions. I've seen it happen, people weren't happy. :(

Anyway, I think it was the end of April because that's when I nabbed mine.
