Umm....I gues this is a brag/complain/lol.
I think I need a shorter username.
Since it takes so long to type out Inheritance, people tend to shorten it.
I've known that people have done that and it hasn't bothered me until, I just realized that a common shortening of my username-
Inher.
In her? Get it? Hah.
Anyways, it amused me. And annoyed me. At the same time. Yep.
:D
I was wondering how somebody would shorten it :P
Interesting. lol
Yeah, I get that one too. Along with Inheri, and Eri.
And /some/ people actually hover over my username and see what my real name is! GASP!
Yeah, but some people find it creepy to call people by their real name on internet boards. :K
Although you'd think they'd stop and think before using 'Inher'! (I'll admit it, I giggled.)
True, I've known that for quite a while.
Maybe if I try to put it so that people will know that I'd prefer to be called that?
Well, I know a bunch of people have it in their signature "Call me (name)." Or they have "(Name) says:" at the top, or things like that. My signature starts with "My name is Ian," so sometimes people call me that on the forums. I must admit, it does give me a start when that happens. I didn't put it there so people would address me by my name, though, I just thought it was a nice starting sentence ^^;;
Anyway, even though some people call me Ian because I have it in my signature, most people, if they need to address me, still call me "Iason." Which I am completely chill with, but I'm just saying, if you do put "Call me Monica" somewhere on your signature or on your profile, you will probably still get called "Inher" or "Inheritance" a lot.
