shit guys (literally) there's a lot of topics right now about poop. WE NEED BETTER, NOT POOP TOPICS. so here;s a topic not about poop.

so what's your earliest memory? how far back can you remember? was it a special memory or something bleak in your life? how vivid is this memory??

personally, i have a faint (very) memory of my parents and i driving along the golden gate bridge in san fransico. i don't know how old i am but i'm def. very young. under 4 perhaps. i'm not one of those people who have vivid memories of what happened in their childhoods, like word for word. but i can remember IM conversations i had weeks ago word for word, because i'm laaame.

i have another memory of my and another boy, whose name is possibly connor, sitting together on my sofa watching cartoons after a bath, and another of me at his house watching power rangers. this was when i was about 4. :P

My earliest memory was probably when I was 3 or 4 and we were walking my brother to school, me in a stroller. After the crossing guard let us cross the street I turned around in my stroller and shouted "Throw a ball!" at him/her. I don't have a damn clue what I meant by it.

I was in kindergarten and we were coloring pictures of sea turtles. I colored mine turquoise and blue, then my teacher cut out the picture with another sheet of paper under it (so there were two the exact same size), stapled them together but leaving a hole, stuffed it with crumpled paper, and stapled the hole shut. I named mine Shelly.

I have no idea why we were doing that, but there ya go. Earliest memory is a sea turtle.

Clinton's inauguration is as far back as I can remember.

I was around, 1-ish. Memory is pretty fuzzy, but I remember sitting on the floor. Bill was on t.v. and the parents were bitching about him being the next president.

Bah, humbug.

I remember walking around in a field on this hill that my family took a trip to. I was around 2 years old. I remember this rock that was big and it was on my right side... but nothing else.

I remember being around 3 at a zoo. I touched a llama in a petting section, and it licked me on my hand. I remember moving my fingers around, and the spit being sticky. It's an odd first memory.

I also remember moving into the house I live in now when I was 3. Everything was so big!

My memories go pretty far back.

One specific among many memories I have was when I was around two years old. I woke up only to find I couldn't open my eyes, and I was freaking out. Turns out my eyes were clotted closed and my mom had to take me to the doctors. I actually remember sitting in the back seat and the feeling of being in the cars with my eyes closed. I also remember the doctors office and everything.

Then there's things like when our cottage was broken into when I was around two, and I remember finding my sparkly blue rubber ball popped among the mess the intruders made.

Things like that. It's not just remembering but I can remember what it felt like. Idk.

I remember taking my first steps. I was 19 months old and I walked from the hallway into the living room, because the TV was on, and I remember going toward the glow and hearing my mom going she's walking !

I remember when my second sister was born, i was 4, and we were eating fruity pebbles before we went to go see her. Then my sister and I ate the lunch food the hospital gave my mom. THe green beans were "mushy" and "not like moms"

The first person I ever had a crush on was in Kindergarten (5) and her name was Abby. She let me use her RED FAT pencil with her NAME on it and I was over the moon.

I remember being around .. oh 2 1/2 after my next sister was a tiny baby and sleeping in the crib with her.

I was 4 I think when I cut open the mesh playpen to get a toy at the bottom. Mom was NOT happy.

I was 3 or 4 when we had mice and some mornings sitting in the hallway floor eating Dots and my mom cleaning the traps and flushing the mice down the toilet....

I have LOTS of memories :)

All my early kiddy-hood memories are rather bleak. But regardless of that, the earliest thing I remember when I was just 4 years old.

We had a dog, a large border collie, that I grew up as a toddler with. As a baby I would run.. well crawl off and get into all sorts of trouble. Bandit, the border collie, would be my nanny/baby sitter. When I crawled to roads, he'd grab me by the diaper and drag me back to the house. We were very close.

My earliest memory is me getting up, being on the farm we got up with the sun. So it must have been around 5 - 6 am. My parents were making breakfast, so while I waited I went outside to go see and play with Bandit until it was ready. I went out the front door and called for him. I called and called, but he never came. This was very odd, he was always there waiting for me when I got up in the morning.

But soon enough Breakfast was ready and I had to go in. Later in the day, must have been early afternoon.. I went to go look for him again. Calling out for him everywhere, still he wouldn't come. I went out onto the pasture's hill in front of the house.

Walking through the tall grass, I finally found him. He laid there as if he was sound asleep, completely still. I remember kneeling down and petting him, nudging him, asking him to get up.

Then my dad came up behind me. He looked so sad as I stood up. The last thing I remember is me tugging on my dad's shirt, asking to make him better.

When I think of guardian angels, I think of my dog Bandit.

My earliest memory was from when I was two or three years old. I went to Goose Fair with my dad and I can remember waiting with him to get on the gallopers.

My earliest memory is throwing up after eating too much. I remember that I had just eaten an egg, and was bawling my eyes out since they wouldn't let me have any more soup. Then it all came back up, with the egg on top :|

This happened in my grandparents' house - I still remember the pattern on their floor and that they had two wooden benches next to an upright piano. ... At least twelve years ago xD

I remember when I was 5. It was my aunt's wedding and I was wearing this ugly pink dress with a bow. I was flower girl and I had a white basket with pink petals that I was spreading. I was kinda confused as to what was going on and why my brother had to carry a ring on a pillow.

My earliest memory is of a TV being carried up (or down maybe) stairs. All I can really see in this memory is the TV, a big old-fashioned 80's TV, slanted because it's on a staircase. It's been confirmed that this memory has to be from when I was around 1 years old :3 Funnily enough, I can't remember anything else until about kindergarten ^_^;

Things like this.. I'll think and think and then I'll keep remembering earlier memories. So let me see here. I remember being between the ages of 2 and 3, when my brother was still a new baby and was very sick in the hospital, and I was staying with my aunt and my grandparents. And I remember around that same time, probably closer to three, I got sick and was wearing those one-piece pajamas and had to go to the hospital and get a shot.

Let's see... my first memories are rather jumbled. I remember getting a big box in the mail, from my granparents, that had one of those pink plastic bikes in it, and my dad putting it together, then riding it from the living room to the dining room. I also remember being in Boston, and there was a big bear outside a toy store, I posed with it with my sister, then we went in, I got a doll(I still have it today), and she got another doll or a Ferby. She, at some point, had wanted both. Those were both before I started Kindergarten, so I was 3 or 4.

I must've been 2 or 3, and I was riding in one of those plastic car things. You know how babies can like push em with their feet? idk if that made sense but oh well. and I remember my brother was pushing me too fast and I ran into the fence in the yard, and started crying. o-o

I have some trouble deciding between what I actually remember, and what I think I remember because someone told me about it.

The oldest thing I can remember that I am sure is my own memory is being pushed in a stroller by my mom. She used to walk with another woman from our neighborhood, along with her daughter who was my age. My older brother rode ahead of us on his bike. I was probably 3 or 4.

I also remember going to the hospital to see my younger brother when he was born, but I wasn't actually allowed into the room because I had been sick. That would make me 3 1/2 years old at the time.
