For once, I have managed to create a somewhat passable avatar using only what I had in my closet!

Oh, no doubt it could be better if I went out and bought stuff, but I'm trying to curb my spend-y habits.

I'm betting most Subeta veterans can create awesome avatars without having to go shopping for anything, but I could be wrong. Talk to me, people; I like to know these things. :)

Woohoo!^_^ I'm new so I've have to go get a piece of two to complete my outfits, but I'm sure I'll get to that point. Not that I mind.. shopping is always fun:D

Although I have a fairly extensive wardrobe, I still usually end up buying at least one or two little extras each time I make an avatar, and sometimes I splash out on something more expensive. I could easily make one using only my current wardrobe, but sometimes you just need something extra to complete the look.

People who own virtually every wearable released can probably make any avatar they want without having to buy anything new, but I think most people often have to buy one or two new things to achieve the precise image they want.

i have a reasonably sized wardrobe but i always buy 2-3+ items for a new ha usually expensive ones, as a result i am dirt poor :(

i have a good wardrobe reasonable but when i see somthing that i want that makes my ha good i get ii... thats probably why im poor.

I have a pretty small wardrobe, but I recycle items and am constantly on the lookout for reasonably priced additions. I like your green and blue colour scheme. ^_^

I have a pretty good size warobe, but when ever I make a new HA, I always seem to go out and buy 3 or more pieces.

I have a decent sized wardrobe, but whenever I make a new HA, I almost always end up buying 1-3 relatively cheap items to complete it. Mostly accessories, I just love the empire ribbons and bow belts. c:

When I set out to make a HA, I usually have everything but some staple item like a plain red shirt and have to run out and buy that ^_^;

Rarely ever do I make an HA that requires I buy something extra. Lol the stuff I have on now has been in my wardrobe for at least a month. In the case of the black sand, nearly the entire time I've been on subeta XD

I never buy anything new when I'm making an HA. That's what's fun to me is to make something out of what I already have.
Sometimes I'll buy a bunch of cloths I want though just never for a specific outfit XD

I only ever bought a few items when I wanted to make a new HA. But, I have tons of stuff in my wardrobe as a result of vending and the wizard giving me nice clothes. If you have a big wardrobe, then you don't have to go buy new thing all the time :)

I try to create my avatars with only stuff that I already have, but it doesn't always work. Often I'll have to buy one or two things. But it's normally nothing too expensive, it might just be a belt or some other accessory like that.

Sometimes it's a challenge to limit myself to my wardrobe, even though I'd say my wardrobe is good-sized. The "all clothing" option is just so much FUN! 8D

For this HA if it weren't for the two striped items I wouldn't have had to buy anything for it. Buuuut I have still yet to buy all the striped items (which I adore).

I just find it good to try and not spend a bunch on a single HA. Goodness knows I have enough I want to buy; I can't afford to spend a mil or more on new items every time I change my HA!

i only go shopping when i can't manage to work with what's in my wardrobe, but i can usually resist the urge and just use what i have.

I usually end up buying one or two new items per HA change, but I have a large wardrobe so sometimes I can make HAs without buying anything new. For this HA I just bought the Red Headband and Red Armwarmers.

but anyways, yeah, my wardrobe is pretty large (i think..) but truth be told i never ever wear probably 60% of the items in it. back when i first started playing in january i added EVERY wearable piece i got, but lots of them are dated and unusable. as a result, i usually end up buying 1 or 2 things each time i make an avatar...sometimes it's expensive, sometimes it's pretty cheap. i CAN make pretty decent avatars using only what i have, but most of the time i don't!
