Well,my moms coming home tomorrow. She was on a buisness trip. She was supposed to stay for a month. Instead,she stayed for 6 months. My dad is struggling with the bills,because she's been there for so long. He sends money there but no money comes back. Then yesterday,she tells him,shes coming home, her small buisness went bankrupt. She sells antique stuff from other countries to sell in America. This time she went to Manilla. Im like,WTF!? How can she go bankrupt? So now,shes going to have to go back to being a bartender. We owe money now to my grandma,my uncle and aunty and some of my dads friends. My mom should have come home sooner.........

A sixth month business trip?

I don't mean to be nosy, but if anything it sounds like your parents had a row or something and she stormed off for a while.

Either way that's irresponsible, especially with the recession. I hate to beat the dead horse, but business owners have to be extra extra extra careful now.

We don't know your parents, but it does sound suspicious. She's gone all that time, no money is sent back to you or your father and she suddenly returns bankrupt? It seriously feels like there's something wrong there, that she was up to something aside from business.

Er... my dad's going on a business trip for eight months or so next year. It's not called a business trip. I think for him it's called a 'Workplace Cross-Country Internship' or something like that. You basically live in that certain spot for a period of time over a month. So... yeah. They are real.

But seriously, I'd be pissed off. I guess I'm lucky that even if my dad or mom is away on business trips (like, five or six days) whe the bills come in, the money goes into the joined account and the bills are delt with from there via automatic withdrawl from the bank.

Seriously, though. Throw an antique vase at her, because that's just rude. :/

Its been that long already?:O Actually,i thought it has been longer. I havent really met your mom,only seen her once at the county fair.But maybe she never sent money because she was already going bankrupt,and never told you guys so you guys dont worry...?But if she never sent any back since the beginning,well then idk.^_^;
