Normally stuff doesn't bother me as much as one would think. But I'm finding the overload of spam messages... to be a little overwhelming, specially in the stickies for each forum. (the ones that aren't locked of course.)
Why... WHY do newbies and or N00bs feel the need to post stupid pointless messages on those threads... I wouldn't really care but I check the stickies for the links I need and I can't help but scroll down and see... ugh SPAM.
I know this is a pointless complaint, and I am sorry but I needed to vent. Makes one wish that messages could be deleted by the UAs and MMs.
Oh well -__-; that won't ever solve the problem anyways.
/end rant.
Agrees It would really clean up the forums if messages could be deleted - and it would be nice if locked threads (like the duplicated threads or ones locked for rule breaking and such) could be deleted....
and cause you said ugh spam :P here you go....

I hate this too!! @ I hate the one in the Avatars forum. And the usernames are so noobish. xD Hopefully, they'll stop soon.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes this.
-LOL that's funny :D
-Yes I hope they stop soon.
The ones on the HA sticky are the worst. WTF gaiz rly?
I somewhat know what you mean. I've seen people like "i'm sorry to get off topic but where blablabla.."
It's annoying but I hardly pay attention to it.

I totally agree with you :x I saw a user some days ago posting on EVERY single thread in the help forum. OH yes, and suddendly as soon as they got 100 posts they stopped :o Veeery weird, I wonder what the reason was?
I hate people who can only spam and don't have anything interesting to say -_- Or the ones who ask their questions in a thread that has nothing to do with what they want. Too lazy to open an own thread...
ugh, agreed.
I visited the Coloured/Limited Pets in the Pound thread the other day out of curiosity and I was pretty amazed by how many useless posts there were by people saying they've adopted a pet that was posted.
It's all cleaned up now, I think, but still pisses me off that so many people didn't bother reading the first post that specifically says NOT to do that. :C
Seriously. xD I know right? Though I don't mind if its to get the thread noticed. Like if they post, "I don't know but I'm interested in finding an answer too, so good luck!"

I hate it as well. I can understand posting if you've got something to contribute but just posting an 'I agree' or a 'lol' or an 'I don't know' is a nightmare to us! The latter is really annoying when it's on a help thread. It's happened to me before. I ask a question and a user will tell me that they don't know the answer. I didn't want to know that, thanks.
Yeah, it is annoying. Ugh. When I make a help thread and whatnot, and I see a reply, I'm thinking "Woo! Someone has the answer/idea for me!" and when you find out that it was someone not helping you (or also interasted in the question at hand), it can turn out to be a big get down. P: And just plain annoying.
Also, as far as cleaning though; someone mentioned deleting locked threads; the reason they don't, is because if they deleted it, someone else might make the same mistake aswell. So they pretty much stay there in hopes to make sure someone else doesn't make the same mistake. c: Such as, if a sticky is made (take the pet friend one for example), and the relating topics where locked (seeking pet friends), people might notice the offical topic better.
I agree. Like all of the 'vs' threads in the Chit-Chat. They're fucking annoying /: and most remained unlocked, last I checked.
Stuff like this bothers me A LOT too. Or I'll have answered someone's question in the Help forum and someone else will post the same answer like two hours later. It's like... really? Why bother? It's acceptable if it's like a minute or two behind like, say we were typing at the same time and I happened to send mine first or whatever.
Hours later though ? Now that's just dumb.
