I know a lot of people out there show all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, horses, birds...). I personally show rabbits. It's super fun, and it is great for people of all ages.
Does anyone here show any animal? If so, what do you show? If not, would you want to? Or what is the most bizarre animal you have heard of being shown?
Chat away! ~.^
We turn on animal planet and leave it on because one of our dogs will sit there and watch it for hours. She really likes shows with other dogs on it. She likes to talk to the tv too. If there is something she likes, she will sit there and open and close her mouth a lot and she doesn't make any sound. When there is something she doesn't like, she barks. It's really cute
Oh, sorry I misread your post. I thought you meant tv shows, not showing animals. It's been a long day. Sorry.
Well, when I was quite a bit younger I competed in the sheep rodeo and showed them. It was fun, but I don't remember a whole lot about it.
I preferred goats honestly, especially chubby milk goats.
Goats milk fudge is the best thing you'll ever put in your mouth.
I show horses and men. No kidding.
Haha. Project Man Show. I'm in the process of organizing and writing the breed standards. If you want details sMail me.
But yeah. I show horses. I show Saddleseat and do jumping competitions. I'm going to be on my college's varsity jumping team next year. I can't wait. :D
Saddlebred showing: here That's real showing. I show other people's American Saddlebreds.
((Sorry that thing is so cheesy. It's annoying, but yeah.))
This is really high-level show jumping. It's my goal to some day compete at that level. :P
Most of this video is show jumping and cross country. Both of which I do. The show jumping in that video is pretty professional. But it's closer to what I compete at.
I only do a tiny bit of cross country and I don't compete in it.
The world of horse showing is a huge one. I hope that's a bit of a glimpse into it.
