Blahhh. I'm going to a new school this year and my brother goes there(he's a junior). It's kinda annoying since it's like...I can't fully be myself. Also, if I do something, he'll know about it. The only pluses are that if he does something, I'll know about it and most of his friends like me and think I'm adorable. c: But other than thaaaatttt. Blah.
So what about you CC, have you ever despised going to the same school with your siblings?
My siblings are significantly older than I am, so I never went to school with them. Thank god. The thought is terrifying, though. Good luck getting through next year. xD
I'm none too bothered attending the same school as my sister, we usually just scream at each other then run away.
It may not be that bad... It depends on how big the school is. When I start high school in September, I'll be going to school with two of my close cousins and my brother. However, the high school is huge, so I'll likely rarely see them. (I'll be in ninth grade, one cousin in tenth, then the other cousin and my brother in eleventh grade.) So I won't really despise it. I just despise the high school.

Im going to be going to school with my older sister this year i dont think she really cares about what i do, and shes always like " if anyone asks if you and i are sisters just say no." xD wtf? i don't know why she thinks im so embarrassing.
I used to go to school with my brother and cousin, they were both in the same year, about 2 years below me. My brother used to punch me in the hall -- hes about six foot and thinks he can get away with it. My cousin used to hug me -- shes a soft girl and loves giving hugs. XD ! Anyway.
I hated it.
Well, my little sister went to the same school as me for all of... A day.
Then she punched a cop and was sent to the "alternative" school instead. She still didn't go. Then home school, then online school, now she's a 16yr old lazy bum who won't get a job OR go to school, but is convinced she'll have engineering schools begging for her anyway because she's "just so smart" (Her IQ is insanely high but still, you have to work for it).
So yeah, I think I would have preferred going to school with her. xD
You're definitely overreacting. Not to be rude, but it's not THAT bad.
Me and my brother went to the same school last year and the year before, and there really wasn't ever any problems. He's a year older than me. I could be myself and do whatever I would normally do. Saying you can't "be yourself" is kind of bullshit unless you and your brother hang in the exact same place; in which case it would be your fault.
My brother and I don't get along either and at first it was kind of weird because we did have 1 class together, but as long as you stick to your friends and he sticks to his there shouldn't be a problem. Making a big deal out of it will just make things worse.
Unless you go to a really tiny school you won't know his business either unless you're being nosy, which means you shouldn't be upset if he's nosy about what you're up to either. My school only has like 1,300 kids, which is relatively small, and I never heard anything about my brother.
I went to school with my sister; she's one grade below me. It sucks, because we had/have most of the same friends.
Now, it's really awkward, because my friends and I drink sometimes, and my sister is completely anti-drinking, and I don't really want her to know I drink, but these friends are her friends, too, so it's difficult when I want to go out somewhere. I always feel awkward, because I don't want her to feel left out, I mean, we all get along, but at the same time.. I don't want her to come. I feel so bad about it.
edit: World's longest run-on sentence ever, wtf? XD

Eh...I go to the same school as my younger brother, and he's a quite a prat. Luckily I hardly ever encounter him at school, except maybe passing him in a corridor.
My older brother went to the same school, but he left just as I joined. This was worse for me as he was quite infamous and I look very similar to him, so I couldn't hide the fact that I was his sister. It was at least 2 years until the "LOL, LOOK IT'S _ _ _ _ WITH LONG HAIR" stopped >:|

i'm going to be a senior this year and my cousin, who has the same name as me, is going to be a freshmen.
i'm just going to try to ignore her lol. we're really different anyway, i dont think we'll get mixed up much.
haha, I'm basically the same as you, except I'll be the junior and my brother will be the freshman. honestly, i probably won't see him much. it'll be kinda hard to find him within the 2000 people, and we won't have a chance of getting classes together i'll just have to give him rides home from school, so hopefully i'm not sitting there for half an hour and then he calls me and says 'OH I LEFT WITH MY FRIENDS ROFL I FORGOT TO TELL YOU' yes he will put the rofl in there.
of course, this is NEXT year. this coming year i'll be a sophomore, so i still have one more year without my brother. we went to the same middle school for a year (me 8th, him 6th grade) and we rarely, if ever saw each other. i think we saw each other on the bus home ahaha.
I hated when my brother and I went to the same high school. My senior year my mom expected me to watch out for the stinker. Erg.
This past year I was a senior in HS and my brother was a freshman. We hardly saw each other and naturally had no classes together, so it really didn't matter. Even if we did see each other I wouldn't care, I'd probably just embarrass him as much as possible or something. The only other time we were in the same school was when I was in fourth and fifth grade, I think? But it was different then.
My brothers and I attended the same high school. It didn't bother me. We really didn't see each other, and we never had classes together.
Luckily...
I have no siblings. :P
I don't know if I'd really mind them being in the same school. It's not like we'd see each other there anyway. My high school has like 2,300 students or something.
But I'm gonna be in college next year. So yeah.
My siblings are too old to go to school with me, though I wouldn't mind it at all.
Yes, because then whenever I got the same teacher as my brother, the teacher go's:
"Oooh, you're insert name here's little sister!! I expect you to do really well this year, your brother was a GREAT student!!"
It gets annoying after a while.
I've always gone to the same school as my brother. I deliberately chose them for that very reason. I mean, if he survived then I will too - and since he's always been a model student, teachers all think he's very charming and thus are more likely to think I am, too.
I got an A in home ec. only because the teacher was in love with my brother. I am no good with cooking (and was especially not so at like 15 :P)
Just roll with it, chances are you'll very rarely meet him. My brother ignored me with vigour when he spotted me until we got into HS and he realized it's not worth the bother :P
