I'm no longer a kid ( :) ), but I was home schooled all the way through. Yup, Kindergarten through High School graduation. And I LOVED it! I have no social issues from it (we were always involved in home school groups), and I have had no trouble with jobs, etc., as some people seem to think will happen. All of my friends were also home schooled, and most of them have been rather successful! I'm so glad you enjoy it, just don't play games too often when you're supposed to be studying! :P
I took a few classes via correspondence and I hated it so much. I found myself slacking off and not taking it as seriously as a "normal" classroom. I'm a lot happier in the school system.
I got your back Jack, bitches be crazy.
I was homeschooled for a year back in elementary school, when my epilepsy was not responding to medication. It was O.K. but I find I prefer regular school much better, especially my tiny high school with about 0% drama.
I was never home-schooled, but always wished I was, lol. :) While the public school system never did me any harm, it is meant to teach several different kinds of students. I always thought it'd be more fun to have a more individualized approach to my education. That's why I had a blast at community college till I finally realized I had to buckle down and earn a degree at some point. Ha ha. :D

I really wanted to be home schooled. Normal school was really easy for me. Even honors classes I kinda just breezed through. When No Child Left Behind hit, I was decidedly bored as heck. So bored I stopped going to school for weeks at a time in my junior/senior years of high school.
If my mom'd let me go for my GED instead, I could've been in college for two years, instead of wasting my time being depressed and bored. I'm socially awkward no matter what, so I don't think it would've hurt to pull me early.
