This is for the current trivia question, move this if its in the wrong place.
But for the answer, is there supposed to be something like the, a, or an allowed? It doesn't really specify and I don't want to add that or not add that, you know?
Well if your answer requires 'an' before it then I'm assuming it would count. But if you wrote 'a' instead, I doubt that'd count as incorrect.
:( Well I wish they would have been more specific with the question.
I believe in most cases "a" and "an" aren't included
I think they should've put whether it was one or two words or more.
I think they put no article if those should not be counted.
I was confused about the same thing. I doubt including "a" or "an" would make that big of a difference though.
If I get this trivia wrong, I'm gonna be pissed lol. :p
Not sure. Generally if you put in extra characters you will get it wrong - however there is a small chance that it will ignore the exclamation point.

I thought it was a computer that sorted through the answers so it had to be exactly the same.
This is something that I wondered for this trivia as well. I've submitted an answer now though.
This.
But it used to be standard that you don't put the article. That rule was actually written down somewhere at one point in time. Either in the help or the editorial, possibly... or might have just been in one of the comments for one of the questionable trivia questions in the past, but that was before the trivia was put in new hands.
=_= Now we can't even get a reply from anyone as to the format for the answer...
Definitely agreed. It seems answer formats are usually specified, such as round to a whole number or first name only or a one word answer... So that makes it a little difficult when there's nothing mentioned. Maybe it won't matter, and it'll just look for key word/s or something?
Yeah I assume that for this one especially they'll make an exception if you use "a" or not. The (no article) thing usually tells you when to NOT use a/an/the, so they can't really blame us for putting one if the "warning" isn't there.
I hope they would count both answers, with and without articles, or many will be really pissed... ended up sending mine with it.
Good luck everyone!

This doesn't specify because it doesn't matter.
But I thought it always mattered. Isn't there only ever one right answer? :X
