if so, for how long was it? why did you go on hiatus? did you regret it when you came back and saw that you missed some events/free gifts/new items/etc?

i was on hiatus for a few months but now i'm back and i regret not coming online more often! i was busy with school and work and vacations and didn't really find the time. i feel like most of my subeta friends don't come online anymore, sigh D: but i'm happy to have saved up some books for the book-drive at least! i had started doing that back in march, wooh.

anyway, today is my birthday! i turn twenty-one. how are you all? ^^;

I've been on hiatus many times. I just came back, like, a week ago off a 6 or 7 month break, I believe. And it was weird when I came back!

So much was different.. I'm still not quite sure about everything, but I'm just doing what I remember doing before. -shrug-

I was forced to in my first year when my grades went way down. Parents pulled the computer plug. Fortunately, I stay off subeta a lot during the school year now and don't have to worry about losing it again, ahah. x: I regret that I put subeta in front of school and I don't plan on doing that again. As much as I love subeta.. it'll still be around after I study and whatnot.

More than once to be honest, I just HAD to do something else. Each time I was gone for a few weeks only though then I came back and had fun here again. Did I regret it afterwards? No way.

2 months this year. Personal stuff, I regret nothing, not even lending my favorite item to a friend that went on hiatus while I was on hiatus and had not ever logged in since.

Yes, and no. I mean I took a break in the middle of Luminaire and missed some of the achievements but whatever I am not a big achievement person, haha. I just took a break because I got bored tbqh. It happens frequently. :P

I've taken many Mandatory ones. xD I won't go into more detail about why, but I always regret coming back. Subeta is a unique site, in the sense that it's very close and things change around constantly and when I leave it's like being a newbie once again. And I miss tons of things.

i need to spend less time on here from september onwards, because i'm going to college and need to focus on school work since i want to go to london college of fashion, and realistically, i need grade A's.

so until september, i'm spending as much time on subeta as i can, in an effort to achieve all my goals here.

Not officially, but about a year ago I was just so busy I didn't really come on for a week or two. Even in that short time I was sad with what I'd missed!

I took a two-month break a while ago. I missed some Xmas and new year events, but it's OK to me. I'm glad that I went back in the middle of the love epidemic event. The whole zombie thing made me a subeta addict. Oh, and happy birthday!

Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys! Gal, here in Montreal you only need to be eighteen to go out drinking and stuff, hah ^^; so being twenty-one means I'll get to go out drinking when I'm in the states but I tend to never want to when I'm on vacation there.

And it's funny to see that so many people take long breaks but still end up coming back. After I took a long hiatus from neopets, I just didn't feel like playing it again but I ALWAYS want to start again on subeta after a break. So much to do all the time!

I took a really long break the day after I joined. Like a four month break. But then Neo went to crap, so I decided to try and figure out this site again. And I am glad I did! ^.^ During the school year, I usually only get on on Fridays and then the weekend.

I also tend to take long breaks when I am sick, too much effort to make it to the computer to log on. Haha.

But I always come back, so I guess that is a good thing. :)

I actually just /kind of/ came back from a hiatus. I haven't been on since last October...mostly because of school and whatnot. I'd have to say I did enjoy the 'real world' for the time I was in it, but I still missed Subeta all the same. ^^;

I'm only about 5 months old and my first month I only logged in a few times, then I got active.

the only time i've taken a break from subeta would be when i went to holland to visit some friends last summer. i was away a little less than 2 weeks, but i was busy the entire trip so i didn't have much time to miss subeta.

i know i won't be able to play much this upcoming year though.

Yes in fact I have. Way back in 08 near the middle... the site was still at messed up and still on old servers and at .org, and well the lag and what not was unbearable. I gave up on Subeta... and left for about nearly 6 months.

Yet a friend kept telling me about what was going on with the site... so I finally came back, and I'm so glad I did. :D

I recently took one because I started nursing school and it doesn't leave time for things like subeta. It was for my entire first semester (i plan on doing it again come august) and no I don't regret it because I didn't fail xD

I was sad about missing that masquerade though :(
