What's the average intelligence a battle pet should have? Just wondering because it appears that it contributes to some elements of battle.

Still pretty new to battling so I know next to nothing about spells. Hmm I think I'll look into them more.

I personally suggest as much intelligence as you can afford... ie.. books, stat boosters whatever your choice of training it.... mainly cause if you have a high intelligence you can equip better and more scrolls, which are very useful in battle. basically think of it this way if you have enough int. for 1 shadow cloak scroll your chance of steal would be very low but if you have enough for 10 shadow cloak scrolls then usually you will steal at least once by the time you use up all 10... just an example... same with blocking scrolls, alot of the really useful ones are once per battle so with higher int. you can equip more then one of the scrolls and basically turn it into a multi use blocker...:)

The absolute minimum you want would be so you can equip Soothing Current or Terra healing scrolls. They come in handy no matter what opponent you battle against or how big your pet gets.
