SO i haven't thought much about this game before, the first tomb raider game for ps1, but i recently bought it after reading many positive reviews of it.
so far i have only played two chapters but man, I LOVE IT. the graphics are adorable, especially lara's cone-shaped polygon boobs. the enemy sounds kinda scared me at first since there's no music and all, but i'm used to it now. XD
also, lara's so fierce, i love her haha. she'd kick indiana's ass any day.
so, does anyone play the tomb raider games? i will probably get the rest of the games after finishing this one, even though i heard some of the earlier ones are veryvery hard? :P
My next door neighbor bought and played a lot (or all?) of the earlier Tomb Raider games.
Sometimes I'd play too. Playing as a sexy woman that kicks major ass is quite fun. :o
Yeah, my parents played through the whole series as the games came out (except for the last one on ps3 and I think one on ps2), and I would get to play it with them.
There was some really bizarre shit in those games that scared me when I was little. I can't remember which game it was, but there was this bit where there was this skinless copy of Lara who mirrored her every move.
But yeah, I'd definitely recommend you play the rest of the games if you enjoy the first one. I have to say though, the last few that came out on ps2 and ps3 certainly have lost their charm.

yeah, i guessed they would. most games do, sadly. i'm just so eager to play because lara is so badass and i fucking love her. XD
i also love how illogical most old games are... wolves, bears and dinosaurs WAY deep in a cave somewhere in the snowy peru mountains, lol
Eh, Tomb Raider was alright. I could never get into them. I remember I was in a temple jumping off the stairs, just fooling around because I was bored. The stairs weren't even that high up but I just kept jumping and one time she landed the wrong way, broke her neck and died. I was just...yeah, in shock I guess. I was too lazy to start the game again so I just never played after that =P
yeah, it's an old game so obviously the controls and such have odd quirks to them. :P it kinda just adds to the (lovely) old-game feeling. (:
you should try it again sometime if you get the opportunity. it might be a bit frustrating at times, but it's worth it. ❤️
eh, I mean it was fun at times. There were just a lot of times where it got boring with the puzzles and I think I got lost a few times. I love puzzle games though, I guess I'm just not a Lara Croft fan.
