the sun was shining today, the water was blue (kinda). an easy breeze and a day no work.

so i took the gf for a boat ride on the lake. i recently got a new boat, not that big, but definitely bigger and greener than most boats that sale these waters.

so while we're just sailing about on the water (actually i was doing all the work!) i kinda dozed off and veered into a part of the lake littered with debris. some of it penetrated the hull.

i didnt notice at first but the boat was broken and water kept coming in. we sank and had to swim to shore. my phone survived, my gf too, but my cigarettes got all wet. at least i have my health

awww how awful..no repair shops for this type of boat then?? at least you both were safe. when i read the topic i thought of speedboats and on the lakes.

had 2 friends..1 died and the other was brain injured when they were sliced through the head by a DIVING BOARD at the end of a friends pier driving a speedboat!!! my 3rd friend driving..he was never the same after that!! it happens so quick..i am glad you were LUCKY ENOUGH.. ya RIP boat
