Summer is here, and everyone's hitting the beach.

Have you ever been to the beach? When's the last time you were there? Did you get sunburned? Did you collect shells?

I've never been to the beach, and probably never will.

I go probably ever week or so. even in the winter. yeah I collected shells and sand dollars. I always bring my dogs and I have one retarted yorkie who always poops right on the sand... right in front of everybody who is there, and she poops alot. Its soo funny. :)

Why can you not go? Do you not live near a beach?

I've gone plenty of time. I don't mind it for walks or collecting shells I always collect shells when I go. I go 2 a year and barely go out during day usually only morning or late evening. You can get 3rd degree burns from the sun. My shoulder blades are proof of that from 4 years ago. I went last summer and that was my most recent visit till next week.

Last time I went to the beach (which was...3 years ago in Cape Cod) I got a sunburn that left me lobster red for about a week.

I hate the beach, unless it's off-season, rainy, or it's late in the evening.

Then I find it quite enjoyable. <3

I've only been to the beach a few times, while at camp (but that's a lake-beach, not ocean one), and a few times in Maine. I went to the beach at my camp last month :) I barely ever get sunburned, but I did find a few neat shells. I'm going to California for two weeks in August, so there's no doubt that I'll go to the beach then! I even got this fuzzy huge new beach towel for the occasion <3

I love the beach. I lay on it for 6 hours straight, easy.

Living on the coast of Florida it'd be a crime if I've never been to the beach! I go at least a couple times a year,went just a couple weeks ago actually,I don't find it that enjoyable though. Hate how the sand sticks to me.

I go to the beach at least 2-3 times in the summer. The last time I was at the beach was May 24th, I managed to take tons of pictures, but completely forgot to collect any shells D= I don't think I got sunburned seeing as it was cold at the beach that day and i was wearing baggy clothes xD I'm thinking about going to the beach this weekend since its going to be in the high 90's and usually when its 90F here its around the mid 70's at the beach <3

I live in Pennsylvania and the closest I've ever been to a beach is a lake up this way, way up in the mountains, with a fake little beach. The water is frigid and full of murky water.

The closest I've ever been to the ocean is Timonium, Maryland (close to Baltimore). Didn't see the ocean though.

Did you get sunburned? No, because I wore sunscreen! But three weeks ago I did. :(

Did you collect shells? Lol, there aren't any shells in Upper Michigan! xD But when I went to Florida, yeah I did. =D

I used to LIVE at the beach when I was a kid. Haha, man, I would swim so much and get so tan. I looked hella more hispanic when I was a kid cause I was always swimming. One year for my birthday, I got hella sick but I wanted to go to the beach sooo bad so I was like NO WE ARE GOING like the spoiled toddler I am and I threw up all in the beach. I hate the beach now :( lmao that throw up incident was the last time I was there I live near the beach now so I might go more often.

I would collect shells and put them in a tupperware container with the intention of making them into something but I never did :(

I dont burn baby; the Latina in me makes me browner than... uh.... chocolate. Yeah.

I live about 30 minutes away from the ocean, so yeah.. I've been going to the beach my entire life and love it. Last time I was there was about a week ago, and no, I didn't get sunburned :D But, that's because it was evening. To me, that's the best time to go to the beach - it's so beautiful. I'm also a huge fan of going to the beach at night and at winter. When you live this close, you get to where you purposely go at obscure times to avoid tourists XD

And I collect seashells, but only the really pretty and unusual ones, and tiny ones.

I've practically been living at Huntington beach this summer with my friends. We're out nearly every day having bonfires, hanging out, talking, playing volleyball or soccer, tanning, you name it.

I'm not a swimmer though haha. I avoid the water at all costs. The salt water just makes me feel so grimy and nasty, plus when you're wet all of the sand sticks to you and it's just bad ):

We never really pay attention to collecting shells or anything like that. And hell no I don't burn. The 1/4 Mexican part of me prevents this from happening. I tan so good, haha.

bah i don't really like the beach tbqh it's sandy n gross and i don't like swimming so there's not much to do besides sit and build sandcastes. and there always are hobos there too.

buuut i digress, my family likes to go to the beach, we woulc go every week since it was only 5 minutes away on foot. now we live more like an hour from santa cruz and we haven't been in a year :P

I love the beach, especially Virginia Beach which we've vacationed at a few times. I love the beaches around Michigan too, on the Great Lakes. I love collecting shells and exploring tide pools and swimming and just laying in the sand. I've been sunburned quite a few times too, as I'm pretty fair skinned. I'd live near a beach if I could though, I love the sea and lakes.

I love the beach! It live in North Delaware so I'm only about two hours away. I eat when I'm at the beach LOL. I use lots of sunscreen but I do get red sometimes. I went to the beach for the day in May. I can't wait to go back!

I haven't been to the beach yet. I've been out on the lakes, but not to a beach yet this year.

The last beach I was at was in Southern France on the Mediterranean Sea. Best beach ever.

That was a year ago. I need to go to the beach again. :P

I go to beaches pretty often.

I've been at least once a year since I am born. xD The last time was this summer, in January. (I live in the south hemisphere, so summer is december, january, february and a bit of march) Or, in March I went in a yatch to see sea lions , and I didn't get sunburnt, luckily. xD

And no, I do not collect shells. xD

Last time I was at the beach was in 2006. Beaches are nice, but I'd rather go to the pool than drive out miles apon miles to go to a beach ;]

I hate the beach.

Last time I went wasn't so bad though. My entiiiire grade was there, the day after graduation. It's not often that students take it upon themselves to organize such an activity.
