I dunno about you, but it's really annoying (imo) to see people quoting others and just writing this underneath the quote box. To me it screams I want to up my post count, but am too lazy/uncreative to write my own response. It's such a waste of space.
I don't mind quoting someone and then adding your own little bit to it, but just writing *this* or *QFT* is just like...stfu. :(
edited because i hate how quotation marks don't work.
I got your back Jack, bitches be crazy.

I actually...have never seen that ^^;;
But I understand what you mean. I thought you were talking about the quotation marks turning into..weird letters or something for a second

I've been seeing it quite often actually. :P

I just like how the quote box frames my forum art. I'm kind of addicted to it. LOL But I know what you mean, I've seen it in a few threads myself.
It really doesn't bother me at all, it usually just emphasizes what they wanted to say but someone already said it. I don't really think they are trying to up their post count XD There are many easier ways than that.
I agree. It just makes people look stupid. If you can't contribute to the topic why bother posting at all?
I thought I had explained it fairly well in my first post. I'm just irked that users just copy and paste and don't really contribute at all to the conversation. Isn't it like spam kinda? Why bother posting at all?

Sometimes people may think the same way as another user....
Actually I'm not quite understanding what your angry about -_-;
Haha yea, I think we can all agree on that.
I am guilty of doing that on occasion, though. Because sometimes somebody says something that NO ONE can say any better, and you just have to pull a QFT.
Haha, I say that in real life, it's an annoying habit of mine. :P And my family's, too, come to think of it.
I kind of see how it could get on your nerves after a while.
[edit]For typos.
The only time I see it is when one person has said something a lot of people think but detailed it so that you can't really add anymore, so I don't have a problem with it.
Off topic: ...then again, I'm super tired, and I shouldn't be posting right now. I don't know what's really going on. If this is what being drunk is like, I don't want to get drunk. :(
If it's already been said then why does it need to be said AGAIN? Redundancy doesn't help further a discussion. If someone wants to quote someone and then further elaborate on what that person said that's one thing, but to just quote them and go ''this'' is just unnecessary.
