Today, my mother and I went out to buy my dad a new guitar amp, and we had to go highway driving to get to the good guitar shop.

While we were on our way there, I counted six people at least who had their noses stuck in their cell phones. Texting.

Yes, texting. I shit you not.

It wouldn't be as bad if they were at least trying to pay attention to the road, but the technological devices have their full attention, and the car is swerving all over the dam road.

WTF Shouldn't there be a law about this crap?! They're more dangerous than a drunk driver! okay, maybe not, but work with me here!

When I'm driving, I won't even THINK about texting someone! The most I do is adjust the air conditioning or turn the radio off. Not pressing buttons on the phone directly in my line of vision so I can't see the road.

Yes. Speeding through a parking lot at about 30 MPH while jabbering away. I saw someone eating from a dinner plate while driving, once, though. Knife and fork cutting at a piece of meat. At least he was paying attention to the road, I guess.

My mum said she saw someone applying mascara while driving. Seriously...can't they wait until they stop driving? Or do it before driving?

Texting while driving can lead to accidents. Accidents can kill people. Killing people is baaad. :c

Onetime I saw this lady changing her babies diaper while she was driving, like seriously wtf?

I'm not allowed to talk on my phone while driving :P If my phone rings I just throw my phone back at my brother and tell him to answer xD

There is a law in Delaware. They already banned texting while driving. They are now working on banning talking on the phone while driving. I'm a volunteer fire fighter and EMT. I encounter a lot of dumbasses texting while driving

We have that 'no phones at all while driving' law here.

People still do it. So I usually yell at them when my mum drives past. .. With the window up. And when they're not looking. :c

My mom got hit a few years ago by some stupid woman who was texting. Turns out she used to go to our church. She was 38 years old at the time. You'd think she would have know better.

I actually saw an 80 year old texting.

I was all, 'Really? You shouldn't be driving as it is, old timer!'

Bet he was surprised. 'Excuse me, could you possibly recommend something to me--' car rams into building, stopping a foot from the man '...Like shock therapy...?'

My ex-roomie used to text while driving all the time, at speeds of like 70-90 mph.

I finally grabbed the thing from her and basically said, "Look, I don't care how engrossing/important/erotic your conversation with your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner-of-the-week is, I WILL NOT DIE. Do that on your own time."

I saw someone trimming their hair while they were driving. I shit you not.
