I was watching E3 a while ago and saw the trailer.
All I gotta say basically is that it looks fucking awesome. I never finished the first game (I had a lot of trouble chasing this fat guy and I kind of gave up) but the trailer makes me want to play it again.
I can't find a link for you guys who haven't seen the trailer yet, but I can show you this: Ezio Image (linked cause it's big)
Goddamn does Bioware know how to make sexy men. First Altair, and now this... ❤
[edit] lmao I know it doesn't really matter but I was re-reading my post and I realized I wrote Bioware instead of Ubisoft, the guys who made the game. I guess I was too stoked at the time about Mass Effect 2 that I messed them up. :B Funny that no one noticed because no one cares who makes it as long as it's good.
Me and the boyfriend watched the trailer, and were a bit dissapointed. Just because it doesn't give much away! I'm interested to see what the story is behind it.
(I never got round to completeing the first one either, ha!)
I was reading an article about it in a game store and I must say, I'm really excited for this game. I loved the first one, even though some people said it was repetitive and slightly boring, so I'm sure I'm going to love the second one even more.
I haven't finished the first one yet.:3 But I really like it.^^
And-I wouldn't want the trailer to give away -too- much. Though I had seen a trailer on youtube before and it wasn't that interesting. I'm sure this is a different trailer^^
Anyways-game looks awesome.:3
I never got around to finishing the first one either, but I already like the look of the second one. Ancient Italy? Beautiful.
That, and I read they're going to have night and day, and there's going to be different combat styles and stuff.
I'm not going to jump on it on release day or anything but it definitely looks like something I may want to grab in the future. :D
I never finished the first one as well... BUT I WANT THIS ONE.
What platform is it gonna be for? :C
xbox 360, ps3, and PC. :)
Not only that, I read that you will now be able to swim in water and fly around ancient Italy using DaVinci's flying machine. The character should also have more moves available. They wanted him to evolve and be like an improved Altair. I forgot what the name of your ancestor is in this one though. You could probably find it online somewhere I'm sure.
GAHH. I knew I should've watched E3, but I was too lazy to, and watched something by Shakespeare instead! D< Blahh. I'm SOOO excited for this game. When I saw the cover of the GameInformer with Ezio on it, I nearly orgasmed on the spot, I swear. I'm in LOVE with the Assassin's Creed game. I've never laughed so hard at a game while playing it, I swear (collapsing market stalls with people, lawl). I've finished the game about twice now, and it never seems to get boring (unless I play it for too long). But I can't wait to see how well they're going to render ancient Italy and such! The pictures that I saw in GI was amazing enough, and comparing them to the real photographs of the places makes it even more phenomenal. I'm pretty anxious to see how the gameplay is going to go, since you have to steal the weapons from the people now instead of coming equipped with them. :3
If it's true that we'll be able to use DaVinci's flying machine... I'll die.
I can't wait to see how they render Italy either. What I've seen so far looks amazing. ❤ ❤ ❤
they released a gameplay video to show off Venice and some of the new abilities you'll be able to do. I was just so excited about the game after seeing this. Definitely a must buy for me.
i loved the flying machine, and how the birds are back, and everything else about it. the landscape looks really pretty too.
Looks awesome, just as AC 1 looked awesome. It ended up being so fucking boring, repeating the same task over and over again. (And there weren't many tasks to begin with!)
You know, I've heard some people saying the same thing, that assassins creed is cool for the first couple of assassinations and then gets boring and repetitive. However, you are an assassin so going around town killing people is what assassins do, what did you expect? That's like saying shooting games are monotonous because all you do is shoot people. What makes the game fun is all the freedom you have running around town and the different ways you can assassinate people. Sure there are side quests like listening in on gossip and collecting flags, but essentially your job is to just kill your targets. They couldn't really add any flashing effects or abilities because you are in the ancient Middle East, they didn't have much you could kill with or that many complicated enemies. Sure they could have added more places to go instead of just killing all nine in only three cities, but then again it was only the first game, the second should have many improvements.
I can't wait for this to come out. I've seen the trailer and it seems amazing.
I CANNOT WAIT.
I loved the first one (despite the repetitive nature of the missions), and I think they mentioned they were including a lot more mission types...so it should be very much improved. And the fact that it's set in Venice...and DaVinci...and the Renaissance...I think I just might enjoy this ;D

I've gotta say Ezio is looking pretty fabulous~
So stoked for this game.
I really liked a lot of things about the first game. If they manage to make the missions less repetitive and make it more difficult, I think it will be pretty great. I think they can pull it off its just a question of whether they will or not.
Just finished the first one a few weeks ago and loved it, even collected most of the achievements (the flags are honestly not worth the trouble though. U_U).
Someone mentioned we can swim in AC2 ? That'd be a pretty nice improvement considering I died I don't know how many times during the last assassination before de Sable, jumping from boat to boat. :unheart:
