ya this is a period forum

idk about anyone else but i get super pissy when i get mine (such as now) and my brother just pisses me off constantly.

ya normally i dont resort to physical violence but i just did.

i am ashamed to say this but i got so mad i bit him as hard as i could on his arm. and i wouldnt let go. he grabbed onto my hair and i puched him in the face.

im not normally a violent person but the hormones + him being a stupid cocky little shit= violence.

so do you ever get seriously violent when you get your period

I must say that what you did is not the wisest thing to do. (consequences eh..)

When I've got my period I'm always extremely laid back, lol. I can't even bother to look at people who annoy me.

Yeah enjoy dealing with his payback later! I always feel too crappy to care about doing anything during my period. Sure, I'm irritable and such, but all I want to do is sleep.

Lol, I feel no different when I'm on my period. Normally I WANT to be violent to my brother as he is quite the arsehole, but I resist. Unless it's self defence.

Well, I've read some of your other posts about the little prick, and he's been asking for it for a while now :P

Before I started my birth control, I was really moody and violent, and I would hit and bite people, too.

But I'm violent as it is, so... :P

ya he fucking irritates me.

he tried punching me in the face but i got there first. he says he is acting liek the bigger person when really he is just doing it to irritate me which i must say is working.

oh and my (ex) best friend is now telling him that i am a lesbian (which im not.) and i sleep with girls (juvenile) and he is now yelling that at me.

so how do i deal with him?

That's really awful, lmao. But if he annoys you, I guess he had it coming [I saw your post on the angst board, I'm actually really sorry.]

When I'm on my rag I get really pissy and easily annoyed. But then then next month I'll be perfectly fine and I'll love everyone. It's weird. But then again, when I'm on my rag, it really depends on the company I'm with, because some of my friends piss me off even if I'm not on my rag.

And I'd just tell him to fuck off and stop listening to the rumours. If he believes a rumour over you, then I think it's time to put him in his place. Either that or say

"IT'S BOYS LIKE YOU WHO TURNED ME INTO A LESBIAN, YOU LITTLE SHIT." That'll put him down a peg.

I'm violent on a normal basis. But that's only because my brother has anger management problems and is constantly throwing things at me and hitting me.

But on my period I'm just sensitive. Not very violent.

I have MAJOR mood swings when I'm on the rag. xD

Before I get it, I eat like mad. Which is okay for me, because I hardly gain any weight no matter how much I eat. xD Then I get REALLY irritable for the first two days and don't eat like, anything.

THEN, I get extremely lovey and cuddly and sometimes hyper. Then I go back to normal. xD

wow, mine doesn't affect my mood at all. I don't feel a lot of pain either. o-o maybe I'm a freak of nature.

Little brothers suck. Mine has broken my nose for touching his hair, thrown a tv at me for being in his room, flipped me over on a mattress and into an entertainment center for talking to him while he was playing halo, and clawed my neck open for sitting in his chair. When I fight back he bawwwwws to my parents, so there's no winning with him. Sometimes you'd think that he's the one with the period. T-T

lol KK same here.

i never tell my mom (she had a full hysterectomy) because she blows it out of proportion and blares it all over facebook.

its like it is some kind of secret. it pisses me off.

idk i just get super irritable and every little thing pisses me off and i hate it. i just count the days until it is over. course i dont bleed in the water when i go swimming so i go swimming but we r going to the beach in a few minutes and i was all " i just dont want to go swimming. ill hang on the beach or whatev but im not going in the water " and she was all " but what if marie (my godmother's daughter) wants you to go in? " i was just " ya know what? i will explain and she will get over it "

idk its the mood swings that kill me.

Agreed. If you turn into that big of a bitch during your period I think it's time to seek birth control or something so you don't have it that often. Yeah, I get it, brothers are annoying, I have one, but I'd never bite him or punch him in the face that's just... wtf.

You don't do that shit to your family. =_=

I never really get mood swings. My period is basically nonexistant (it lasts like, 3 days, maybe 4 maximum) and I hardly ever get cramps. If anything I get more friendly/affectionate on mine. I always seem to be in a fairly good mood. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess?

I get really pissy before my period and in the beginning. :p But not that much, jeez. I think you might need birth control for that...

sometimes I wonder if people believe that when they get their periods they'll get moody so it makes them act the way that they do :p

This. I think it's mostly a psychological thing people use as an excuse, not an actual issue. I mean there are some instances where mood swings are a medical issue, but not all mood swings = instantly bitchy.

I hate it when people use periods as an excuse for their meanness.

QFT

I get a little more easily irritated or upset while on my period, but I don't wake up ready to punch someone in the face or bawl my eyes out when someone calls me an idiot. I think moods are a little less unstable, but not so dramatically.

Granted, some women suffer from massive hormone changes during their periods where some symptoms include extreme mood swings, severe cramping, and migrains.

So I guess it depends. :/

Some women probably DO get extremely moody, while others just THINK they are so they become moody, even when there's no reason to.

I... Don't get PMS? xD

I dunno, I've never been any moodier before or on my period. I might pout a little, but I don't really get mood swings. Then again for most of the time I've gotten it I've been on the pill.
