So, my dad's friend, whom after coming into some money (Long story) has decided to treat us all to a trip to Disney World.
I'm really happy because I can't recall the date of my last vacation, and school has been pounding about as hard as it can. (I don't get summer off, or spring break.)
I have a small problem though. I don't know where to go in the park. Pretty sure we're going to be able to go into the water parks and the other sections of the place, not just the Magic Kingdom.
Any suggestions where to go and what to do?
i've only ever been to Disneyland, and i don't know how similar they are but the SUBMARINES! were always my favorite ride. I think they changed a lot since I was, uh, 3 years old but I bet it's still really fun!
do the submarines just for me please
Get one of those giant turkey legs at Magic Kingdom lol. Those are really yummy. And all three mountain rides at Magic Kingdom. Epcot is a great place to go eat because you can go to the different countries and get food you don't normally get to eat. I like the British pub. They have really good food there. You can go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot and MGM on a Disney World pass. The Aerosmith ride at MGM is awesome if you love roller coasters. I wish I could go to Disney World. Can I come with you guys? lol
The submarine got replaced with a Finding Nemo Ride quite a few years ago. It got replaced with a Finding Nemo ride though.
Epcott was pretty cool though.. at least what I remember of it. XD There's a Bill Nye ride there that I remember really liking.
You have to visit Magic Kingdom because it's magic kingdom though. It's also where the fireworks and most of the major rides are as well.
I'm assuming you guys have a hopper pass right?
The last time I went to disneyworld was around 1995 or so.. wild kingdom hadn't been built yet so I honestly have no clue what that park is like.
I'd also go to the hollywood tower of terror which is in the mgm hollywood park, I think.
Epcot is awesome. Go there, it's definitely worth it. Um.. I dunno, I'm always just content with visiting Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I love riding the teacups. ^_^
Thanks everybody ^^. Writing all of this down in a Word Document.
Yep, my dad said we've go the park hopper pass.
Epcot sounds like it's going to be the place to visit, I'm really looking forward to that one now ^^. I've got all of the rides mentioned down. (And turkey legs, those sound good 0.0)
Yes, you may come with us, however we're also bringing our hamster, since we aren't staying in a hotel. Do you mind little puff balls in cages?
I love hamsters. My sister has the cutest hamster. She is calico colored
Epcot is fun if you like different cultures or if you are old enough to drink. It is the only Disney World park that has booze. I like the different countries. But the next time I go, I'll be able to drink legally. I hope you have fun!
Would you guys be able to go to Universal Studios while you're there?
If so, I highly recommend buying the Fast Pass and going there. Out of the two weeks I spent in Florida at all the different theme parks, I actually got to ride about 25 rides in a day at Universal Studios. Maybe it just wasn't that busy or the Fast Passes were magic, but the longest we had to wait in line was about 15 minutes for the Hulk rollercoaster. :]
Hollywood Studios is amazing. They have some wonderful shops, and the staff members there dress up in old Hollywood Style, which is always fun. Be sure to ride Tower of Terror and Rockin' Rollercoaster. Get Fast Passes for both, but especially for Rockin' Rollercoaster. I went to Disney World this June, and we waited in line maybe 20 minutes for Rockin' Rollercoaster with our Fast Passes, instead of the hour and thirty minute regular line.
You have to go to Epcot. The World Showcase is one of my absolute favorite things about Disney World. All the countries have great gift shops (especially Japan), and great food. Some have attractions, but mostly they are short films about the country. However, the Viking Ride in Norway is a lot of fun. The fireworks show at 9pm is beautiful, and totally worth sticking around for. I actually bought the soundtrack for it and put it on my iPod. xD
If you want to find characters, the Animal Kingdom is a good place to go if you can't make it to the Magic Kingdom. We saw most of the Pocahontas characters there, along with Rafiki, Flick, the Jungle Book characters, Lilo and Stitch, and Jiminy Cricket. Expedition Everest is definitely worth the line, even if you don't get a Fast Pass. The Passes run out extremely quickly, so I would recommend going to the park when it opens and not later in the day.
omg can i come :( my parents want to go to disneyland but we're kind of been like a thousand times and nothing much changes. we also have no money lol.
lmao omg last time we went to disneyland EVERYONE was eating them. they had a bunch of those food carts that sold TURKEY LEGS AND CHURROS.
YES. THAT STUFF IS GOOD.
I would try to do as much as you can there. Get FastPasses too. They can save you really long waits for rides.
TEA CUPS ARE THE BEST BTW.
When I went to Florida with the school we went on that ride. And during the introduction bit where Aerosmith are talking to you, one of the girls who was with us says "Are they famous or something?". Everybody in the room turned round and looked at her with a 0_0 look on their face. The ride itself is awesome. :D
Those turkey legs at Magic Kingdom are awesome. They are so big, it is the only thing I eat for dinner at Magic Kingdom and I can't finish it. I remember reading somewhere they sell over a million legs each year
Sea World has gotten really fun too. They have a few rides there that are pretty cool. And the penguin exhibit. That's the best part of Sea World. I can watch those little guys all day and not get tired of it! The last time I went to Animal Kingdom was when they first opened it. It was pretty fun but it was also really hot that day so the animals just laid in the shade during the safari
I just facepalmed myself jayneyness
