do you do any? if so what? get anything in return?
i try to, i mow the lawn and do the kitchen oh and walked the dog 4 miles every night, how much i do depends on how much money i get. mum never notices if i help though so I've not had any money for a couple of months XD i should probably help more bet every time i go to i get distracted or tired or school, but now it's the holidays i have no excuse and i need money so I'm going to try help out more -has just cleaned kitchen and desk-
I do the dishes, clean my room, do the laundry, and clean the bathroom. I get 30 bucks a month.
cool i should really try to do some thing i always do little things and the occasional big clean but im not exactly consistent enough to get pocket money XD
wow that is truly amazing well done :D
i was going to get a job to help out my mum but it wouldn't help much because she'd have to drive me there i baby sit for her and her friends for her a lot though i need to help more :(
The only thing I do is feed my cat, but I don't think that's a chore. I love my cat so I want to keep her alive and healthy.
I'm lazy. :c But my whole family is, haha. Messiness doesn't bother me, so I'm okay with it.
I sweep the basement and take out the dog, and occasionally clean a bathroom, wash a load of clothes, or dust.
I get around $30 every two months, and even then my mother is always trying to take it. Is it not my parents' combined job to feed and clothe me until I am 18? Or has it changed?
If I don't do some extra things they ask, nothing is taken away because I don't even go out with my friends :P We just end up doing it together.
I put away laundry, I sweep the bathroom/kitchen, dust, rake, shovel snow, and do other random lawn work.
I get around 20 bucks a month depending on how lazy I was that month, sometimes more, sometimes less.

When I was younger I got £5 per week pocket money providing I emptied and loaded the dishwasher, fed the dogs, tidied my room and the bathroom and hoovered the house. I haven't got pocket money since I first got a job (I was 16).
I WOULD, but I don't get pocket money. At all. >< I hoover the house, and I'll do whatever if someone ASKS. Why can't anyone just ask? --
My parents pay me to do chores. har har
My parents go by the pay for what you do way too. My bro typically doesn't do much (unless he decides he wants to something, then he'll get around to cleaning) wich leaves a bunch for me. I do the dishes pretty much everyday, and then go on sprees where I do more. Yesterday I went through our lid drawer, picked out the ones that had some how managed to get sticky or crumbed and threw them in to be washed and washed the drawer. And I went through and reorganized the cups cuz the clutter they were in was driving me insane. Some days I go through the living room to. Usually by the end of the summer I've gone over the entire house except my parent's room.
And I get payed every 2 weeks, if I do chores at least 12 outta the 14 days it garuntees me 35$ and possibly more. Which of course works for me.
I vaccum, do the dishes, feed the dog[s], and walk them! And I dont get anything in return! :( But my parents give me money if I go somewhere.

I clean the cat's litter box and put away the dishes for free ): It sucks. I wish I had an allowance, but whatever.
I sweep my room, sometimes the house if they ask me to. I also do the laundry, just the hanging-the-clothes-on-the-drier thing and taking it off cause I have no idea how to control the washing machine XD And I wash the dishes, all of those for free.
My parents think that giving money away for cleaning is stupid :( (maybe that's the reason we don't have a maid)
I cook tea every night, wash up, do the washing, vacuume once a week, clean the bathrooms, clean up my dirty sisters shit they leave around the house... plus pay $50 board a month. So I'd say you've all got it fairy easy :P
Every day I wash, fold, put away the laundry. I do the dishes every day, sweep the floors, vacuum the carpets, clean the litterbox, clean up the messes around the house. I dust, I pay the bills, I do the mending. I make sure that dinner is ready, as well as breakfast and lunch when we're both available for it.
I don't get paid for this and don't get thanked very often either. It's what happens when you live in an apartment with a spouse.
i tried doing that alternate thing with my brother but he would never do it then I'd have to do his share as well XD i wouldn't really need the money but i have to buy ALL my own clothes or anything i need, and if i don't get money but need some thing i ask mum and she gets annoyed and tells me a need to tidy up XD
I live here for free so it's only fair I do my share of the work. So yeah, clean, laundry, ironing, floor-washing, lawn-mowing, car-washing, cooking, grocery shopping, whatever. I do shit every day but it's more of a habit than a chore really, except when it comes to gardenwork :x I hate hate hate working in the garden, it's such a pain, plus it's huge and old and just trying to keep the grapevines from completely eating the entire place is like a full-time job.
I help out when we need to paint the house or build something and stuff like that, too, and it's really nice.
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
I'm the 'dogkeeper'. I walk 'em, feed 'em, bathe 'em, pick up their accidents... Don't get paid for this as it's something I love to do. :D I also vacuum the ground floor, which isn't as fun. But eh, I guess it's sort of part of the whole dog-keeping thing. Have to clean up all their fur.
