I know that the games aren't really a big thing in Subeta but I honestly feel that the Tiles game is ridiculous.

After you play one around (hopefully you got your 3 tile prize) you have to wait another TWO hours to play the game. There are nearly 60 different tiles you have to get in order to make it to the bonus round.

On top of that, when you complete a game, there is a low chance of having all of your tiles be different ones so you have to trade FOUR tiles to get a different tile so it pulls you that much more closer to the bonus round that actually presents to you a Tile item.

This game has been around for such a quite time but hardly anyone plays it because it is somewhat long to play and you have to wait 2 hours to play the next around. On top of that, the tiles given as a real item prize are nearly non-existent on the site.

So the fact that you have to wait 2 hours to play the next round plus you have to trade in FOUR tiles for any given ONE tile makes people not really interested in the game. And not everyone can stay online for 2 hours just to play a game that takes a good chunk of time to play. So it could literally take you weeks before you even get to the bonus round and for the people that can get online for more than 2 hours sometimes forget about the game because we don't usually sit there timing ourselves.

I'm trying to get a few tiles and of course they happen to be ones that aren't in existent anywhere on the site. Maybe in some rotting account or an old account that got deleted. Otherwise, they item doesn't exist.

I just wanted to get that off my mind because I just started playing the game recently again and I realized why I stopped in the first place. It makes it nearly impossible to get far in the game. Also, the bonus round is difficult as is(I like it like that, it keeps the tiles rare) but the fact that it takes so much just to get to the bonus round is ridiculous!

I just wish that, like the Random game, gold members could play the game like every hour as opposed to the standard two hours. Or that it was just changed in general so that you wouldn't have to wait two hours to play the game.

Side note: The site has been doing a wonderful job, they really have been! Changing the servers, adding new items, even improving the stocks! I really love the site and what it has to offer. I just wanted to get that off my mind and see what other people think about it.

I think it is only ridiculous that you have to wait two hours to play it then on top of that that, how long it could take til you reach the bonus stage (especially since not all of the tiles you get are different, you have to exchange four tiles to get a different one), not so much as the difficult of play it has.

I can understand your frustration. It takes so long and I just dont have the patience. It would be nice for a time cut but even then I don't know how much I'd play ^_^;

It's a very fun game though. A good way to kill time.

The thing is, the tiles are even rarer by making it take so long to get there. =/ I know how you feel, I'm on a quest to get to the bonus round at the moment, but I can usually always finish the game with no tiles left and receive 4 tiles which isn't bad. If some are doubles of ones I have, I just let the doubles build up a bit and then trade 4 for one I don't already have. I do think the GA cutting it down from 2 hours to 1 hour sounds like a good idea though. :)

I think that's actually what I like about the game. It takes tons of patience and persistence to get those achievements (not sure if there are more beyond the 5 tiles in your case one). I'm only almost up to my second bonus game, personally, and yes - it's taken weeks to get there. I figure it's one of those things most people will give up on because of the sheer time it takes. Not playing, but amassing all the tiles needed. For me, the game itself doesn't even take that long. I just sort of mindlessly stack whatever tiles will fit. Usually I end up filling all three, sometimes I only fill two though.

Edit - Also, after every game, I check my tile case and mentally add up how many tiles I can 'buy' with the extras I have, and how many tiles I'm missing. I don't trade any until I have enough to trade for all the ones I'm missing.

I agree and I've only managed to get to the bonus round 3 times in the past 4 months since learning how to play the game properly. It's just time consuming. =/ It stinks.

But see, that is also just it, the tiles are being put into tile cases where they can never be removed. I am trying to get the tiles for my pets treasure, not so much for the achievement. There are people out there who just want the tiles for a treasure, collection, gallery, etc.

It is already time consuming to play the game but the fact that we also have to wait 2 hours to even start playing the game I think is what is troublesome about the game.

I do have patience, it is just that I don't get online as often as I wish I could so I don't have 3 hours or so to spare to play that game. Also, I'm sure not everyone can get online everyday. We have jobs, lives, other things to do that when do get the chance to play the tile game, it becomes impossible.

A good majority of the users are old enough to be having jobs and being busy with school work or real life stuff. A two hour waiting period is really just to much for a game that is already time consuming to play, all its own. In my opinion.

Have you made a suggestion to reduce the wait time with a GA? It sounds like a good idea, it certainly won't be much of an advantage so I don't see why it would be shot down ;)

I'm getting the feeling I'm missing something. Do you only get to play one bonus round per normal round you do? I figured once you completed the normal round and your tile collection (the ones you can't remove, not the wooden ones) you'd be able to just play the bonus round as many times as you liked (like unlocking it, I guess). O___o

Nope, once your bonus game is over, you need to re-fill your tile case to play it again. That's why it takes so long to get the 'physical' tiles.

I actually used to love playing the tiles game. The waiting period used to kill me. It's past tense because I've stopped playing it. I did play it consistently for a while, though. It's not a game for everyone obviously, but it's not difficult. Time is a big factor in it and I know I quit if I don't get three pillars filled up.

What kills me about the game is the bonus game where the amount of points you get determine which tile you get.

Oh, I also keep playing until I have a ton of tiles before I trade four tiles for another one. That's just how I play the game, though.

I never said it was to hard to play. And I used to play it all the time.

I'm just complaining about the time.

; Yea, that is why I'm mostly complaining about the time. You only get one shot at the bonus round per tile set you complete. It sucks.

I dislike the amount of time you have to put into the game for just one tile, but I guess nothing can be too easy.

I'll probably end up buying tiles. xD Although the funny thing is, after this thread I went to check on the tiles I had, and apparently this wild tile allows me to automatically play the bonus game?

I'd loveeee if you could play more often. Or perhaps could play 10 games per day or something, similar to the rock paper scissors and the quests.
