I'm interested to know from among Subetans, what do you think is the solution to the world's major problems such as poverty, under-population (referring to the West), over-population in some areas, the economy, etc,?

I'd like for this thread not to be one where we attack the solutions that each individual considers/offers, but just for us to look at one another's solutions and say "well, that's interesting -- but I feel like there might be an issue with taking that direction in [x] or [y] way..."

The solution I advocate is nothing short of the redesign of our society, for the benefit of society -- so for human and environmental concern, based on the most up-to-date understandings we have today. It's best summarised as: the application of scientific methods to society, for human and environmental concern.
