My boyfriend (of 9 months) and I have been having a little difficulty in our relationship as of late. Actually, no...we got into a fight 3 days ago and now things just seem off.

I'll say things to him, such as I never want to lose you or something similar or equally 'sweet' and before he would return the sentiment, most of the time to a larger extent that I did, but now he'll just say things like It's these little moments, baby and doesn't say anything else.

Should I be worried and ask him why he isn't returning the sentiment or just leave it alone?

I brought it up to him and we had a small discussion that I thought solved the issue, but then he became a total grump and when I asked what was wrong he said he was just tired...but I feel like it's something more than that. I have this feeling of doom just hanging out over my head and it's eating at me.

It amazes me how things can be going as smoothly as can be and then one conversation can make you re-think everything.

i think you are over-analyzing it. it's times like these that guys need some space to reassess and evaluate before getting back to normal. this doesn't mean he has to be assured of your feelings or etc. it just means that you should probably step back and stop worrying -- otherwise you run the risk of suffocating and smothering.

In general guys aren't as interested in relationships as girls are. May I ask how old you are? Because younger guys sometimes act like that so they don't seem too loved up to their friends. As long as you can settle things after your little arguments things should work themselves out, after all, all good relationships are rocky the ones that don't argue don't ever know each other and end up worse off. It'll all be fine :3
