Does anyone remember that there were two versions of commercials when promoting ruby and sapphire? One of them was the one you can find on youtube, where a bunch of people are dressed like the pokemon they are representing:

However there was one (I'm pretty sure it was released before it) and it had a bunch of people just saying the names of some of the new released pokemon that were to be in Ruby and Sapphire. I remember two distinct parts:

1. There was this emo-looking guy (he could have been asian too) and he was listening to music on headphones and bopping his head and he just goes: "B)...........Beautifly"

2. At the very end there's three girls (who honestly don't remember looking like they'd be into pokemon) but they said "Zig Zag Oon!" all excited and distinct.

I have been searching for this commercial for forever, does anyone else remember it? o_o My friend and I both do.

I don't remember the second commercial you mentioned, but I remember the first one well. I love that commercial.

Then again that was ages ago so maybe I just don't remember it. shrug

Pokemon's had some crazy commercials over the years. Not that I ever needed them to convince me to buy them-once I heard a new game was coming out, I shat my pants with excitement and ran to GameStop to see when I could reserve myself a copy. Gold and Silver especially caused this reaction, and I remember seeing the commercial for the first time and thinking "Holy cheese nipples! There's MULTIPLE COLORS!". XD

Ah, Pokemon. I think a lot of my bad eyesight can be contributed to staring at the one inch screen of the GBC for countless hours, trying to Catch 'm All.

I don't really remember most of the second commercial, but I can recall the first one, especially the ads in magazines.
