so earlier today, midday, our cat decides to bring home a treat. a live one. D; she brought in a mouse, trotting in happily with it between her jaw, to which we freaked out and watched as it scurried off into the MECHANISMS OF OUR SOFA when she dropped it. x__x SO. its been eight hours of waiting, running to catch it and failing miserably and i now hate that mouse so much. and my friend wants to feed it to her snake. i'm considering it. v__v
I love mice. I have no idea why people are terrified of them. If one is scurrying around my feet I'd just worry about stepping on it by accident.

I love mice. I have three of them. But, I can understand people's dislike of them, since they poop in cubbords. xD
dude. i don't hate mice, i'm trying to capture the thing to stop it, y'know, DYING? its just a pain, because i got alllll the way down the street to let it go away from cats, to realise I NEVER FUCKING CAUGHT IT. D:
Poor you. D: Good luck, you know, catching the mouse? My dog once brought a alive kitten and proceeded to kill it. I tried to stop him and the poor thing ended up dying in my hand.
(e); I just read 'who else eats mice' in your title, bahahaha.
WTF DUDE that suuuucks for the kitten D: how the hell did it find a kitten?
Aw, poor mouse. My cat brings them home all the time, and I always feel so bad for them /: Most of the time we're dead, but whenever we do get a live one we just put it in our backyard and hope it makes it.
; I live in a very 'green' area. There are lots of kittens and animals around, so I guess he just catched a less lucky one. ;_;
I love mice, I used to have two of them. :3 I miss them. Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehh. I want some more, but I have rats instead.
That really sucks though. Poor mousey.
I love rats, mice not so much.
DO NOT let your friend feed it to her snake. I have a corn and they should not eat live and "wild" mice can get the snake very sick and can physically harm the snake. Good luck catching it though.
Lurking like lurkers do...
it was a joke. we're aware of snake safety k. since she's like a snake breeder :P
the largest thing our cats have gotten are wood pidgeons, which are pretty damn huuuuge. D: but yeah one lived. one died.
we had to like, keep it in a RUB for a week~
I just wanted to make sure. My friend would feed live and unsupervised and her snake died, so better safe than sorry :)
What snake does she breed?
Lurking like lurkers do...
aha.
corn snakes~ they're so cute~ but i had to help her force feed the ones that weren't taking their food xD they went five weeks from birth eating nothing because they're damn stubborn!
Yeah I had that issue with my sand boa and the breeder we got him from was an idiot and did not tell us the correct set up, so we had no UV light for digestion.
Back on OT, I hope you do find that mouse, if you aren't against glue traps, I recommend those or no kill traps.
Lurking like lurkers do...
I do like mice. Don't let the 15 dead mice in my freezer convince you otherwise.
If they're alive, I'm sure I would love one as a pet...but their life spans put me off.

i love mice, but my cat nala used to catch a bunch of of, and every other thing under the sun. he once brought a live mouse and it almost got caught in the vac., luckily we got it out and released it in the wild because it wasn't injured.
he's also caught snakes (small garden ones) birds and gophers. he's old and fat now, but he still will chase after things in the yard.
my other cat used to eat lizards, save for the head, which she would spit onto our porch. when she ate the lizard you could HEAR THE BONES CRUNCH. she's a BA.
I love mice! They're so adorably cute. ❤️
The poor thing is just scared. :c
I hate when my cats bring me critters they've caught. :(
Clive catches mice in the basement.
And Tomo catches voles outside. Voles are basically mice without ears or eyes.
I had this vole in the yard that I saw everyday. It lived under a birdbath that I changed daily and it had little tunnels under there and stuff. I even named it. Then I found it with its neck broken on the front step one day.
Thanks, Tome. >:C
