I had the best adventure today.

In the magic that is Virginia City, the most touristy place ever... ever. So. Much. Shit. That I wanted to buy.

But there was this one store [where I got an epic-ass shirt with viking skeletons on it]. I never learned the name of it, I only called it the 'crazy lady store'.

The second I walked in the door, this little Asian woman scurries up to me and waits for me to look at something, as if I can't tell she's there... hovering.

So I start to look at the aforementioned shirt, and she goes, 'OH, YOU LIKA DAT SHIRT? DAT A BERY GOOD QUALITY SHIRT.'

At this point, I stare at her blankly, and just go, '...cool.'

She responds with: 'USUALLY I SELLA DAT SHIRT FOR TIRTY-TREE DOLLA, BUT I LIKA YOU, YOU HAB IT FOR TWENTY DOLLA!'

'.......that's neat.'

'YOU WANNA BUYA DAT SHIRT? I SHOW YOU MORE SHIRTS, I SHOW YOU MY PABORITE SHIRT, IT BERY HIGH QUALITY.'

So I get showed at least eight or nine more shirts by this crazed Asian woman. After about fifteen minutes of my trying to stifle giggles, I go up to buy the shirt. She goes off to help another customer, and yells at me, 'OH, YOU JUST TAKEA DAT SHIRT TO MY HUSBAN', YOU TELL HIM I SELL IT FOR TWENTY, NOT TIRTY-TREE, BECAUSE I LIKA YOU.'

Obviously the best purchase I've ever made. I ended up buying two scrunchies as well, lawl.

i went on a trail ride with my friend and her horse. so much fun.

i ended up spending 5 or 6 hours at the barn just hanging out with my barn owner... random day but i had fun

Riding my great uncle's horse... he's so pretty. :3 I had tons of fun, but I have no balance so I was all over the damn place.

I... I played with my neices and downloaded music all day. Oh, and I almost finished my script. I just need to touch it up now.

I had my three year old cousin on my shoulders the entire time. I: She is a handful and was slightly scared by the lady.

Oh God, I'm glad to hear that SOMEONE is getting some writing done... when I first left for this trip I was like 'LOL NOW THAT I HAVE SO MUCH TIME IN THE CAR, I'LL GET TONS OF WRITING DONE!'

And I was wrong. Unless, by 'writing', I mean 'sleeping'.

OHMYGOD VIRGINIA CITY NEVADA? hoshit i love that placeeee we go there a lot for field trips because it's only like an hour away and is HISTORICALLY ACCURATE of nevada history did you buy candy from there you must have that is the purchased thing there when we go on fieldtrips. virginia city is fun, people always complain about going there every year, but i find it entertaining.

oh god I loved it, I could live there. I went to the wild west show, it was the BEST PRODUCTION I'VE EVER SEEN.

There's like, eight candy stores there... the only one I bought from was one with Idaho Spuds. They are my weakness. >:

It reminds me of when I was in Belgium, though. This one guy was trying to sell me a few shirts, and he was all loud and kind of scary. It was like:

Me: Oh cool! A Nightwish shirt!

Guy: YOU LIKE THEM? I WILL SELL THIS TO YOU FOR FIFTEEN EURO.

Me: I-I, I gue -

GUY: HOW ABOUT TEN?

Me: Sur-

Guy: I'LL PUT THE HODDIE IN FOR THIRTY.

Me: SOLD.

Now things like that are why haggling rules :D

They do that in London. IT'S ACTUALLY SCARY. D': I get all scared and start to panic and get nervous and they're all "BUY DIS". "AHH, I WILL, LET ME BREATHE." D;

Lol! Reminds me of the East-Asian women in Camden market, London. They all stand behind their food counters going "HEY LADY, COME OVA HEA AND TRY" "LADY. HEY LADY." "LADY. LADY!" Jesus christ, I don't even like Thai food, stop harassing me.

But I've only ever encountered the loud, haggly types in markets or tourist stands. I would be fucked if haggling was the norm in everyday shops.

I LOVE LONDON HARD. Well, Camden, I lovelovelove it. The place I buy all my sexy alternative clothings. 8D Mmhm.

But it is scary. D; I prefer my town I live in. But it gets boring after a while and I get random arse confidence boosts. :C

Lol. I live in a little shitsplat west-coast town. Nothing goes on there, ever, and I see the same people every day. AND THAT IS HOW I LIKE IT, THANKS.
