So I'm a pretty frequent pound surfer but only for possible names that might be floating through that I might like to use for a character and I've noticed an increasing amount of "stupid" pets.

Example, Imretarded the common kumos. - REALLY!? Why would you make this pet? How can this possibly be something someone would want to adopt? To me this seems like one of the pets someone would make for the "lulz" and then abandon right away.

D: There are tons more but I don't have the patience to find them all and bitch about them individually. I just think it would be nice we could keep this sort of stupidity off of subeta..at least for a little while longer.

Yeah, I've seen this while trolling the pound before. I guess people think they're witty or cleaver? I don't think they realize that only children under the age of 10 share their sense of humor.

Wow, those are some crappy names. That first one is horrible to be honest. Maybe it's just me, but I feel empathy and compassion towards pets, real or not, and that name is just disrespectful. Hopefully someone will adopt the pet and change its name.

Lol, funny how it took not even two weeks of the pound clearing for these names to start showing up again. Sigh. The only upside I can see is that it makes it less likely for a pet to get snagged during a transfer, but still. Pretty lame.

While I find these names annoying, I'm thinking that complaining about it will only make them do it more. :c

TwilightSucks and (a first name i cant remember)_Cullen were in the pound :c

See, this is why I'm glad my pet slots are full, I don't have the urge to look in the pound and see all the horrible names, or whatever. I just wish people took more pride in naming pets, or at least thought things through, instead of being an idiot and naming a pet so stupidly just to throw away. =(

Maybe its just me, but after reading your first post, you make it seem like you think that all the people pounding their pets, made their pets just to pound them :x

Now im sure there were some people who did do this, Such as from before the clearing, names such as ADOPT ME, But the names such as imretarded, or the Twilight pets,may of been a pet that the person kept for a month or too, then realized their pets name was bad, And since we cant simply delete our pets, pounded it.

It is really disappointing to see all those horribly named pets in the pound.

I totally agree. Whenever I look into some of the names that are in the pound, you can kind of sense who gave a care and who didn't. Usually if the pet is common it'll be a spam-dump pet, wheras if its a simple colour like dawn or cream, a little bit more love could have been put into it.

I don't know, its like a sixth sense with me. I agree with this useless pet pounding though. It just seems like a good way to spam without getting in trouble.

Oh man. . .people are just ridiculous. :/ If you want a pet to be adopted, give it a decent name. . .I hate people who make ridiculously "named" pets just to make a statement and not keep it afterwards. :x

i understand some (a lot of) people care about having a high number of achievements, but honestly, is it so hard to take a minute to think of an actual name? It's not neopets, there are still plenty of good names open

I notice this when pound surfing, too. :C I feel so bad for the pets, if I was the richest user on Subeta I'd adopt them and do name changes. They look so sad and alone...

I feel bad for them, too. :( I would adopt and foster them, but I'm afraid that a pet with a rare color would have a hard time finding a permanent home if it had a bad name.

It seemed to start with that mass of real word pets that someone made then pounded, now it is like they are just making these pets with number names or just something stupid in general like you said :/

Am I the only one that doesn't care? It gives you a nice buffer if you're actually trying to transfer pets, and they get cleared out every so often.
