Is Shinwa supposed to be able to ask you to do quests you've already completed, thus forcing you to give up her quest? Today when I was doing her quest she asked me to go to the Wizard for a portion of her bracelet, but I had already done 30/30 for him today and thus had to quit her quest. This has never happened to me before so I wasn't sure if it was typical or a glitch?

Yeah its typical, thats why you should do her first if your going to do her :)

you should also know that there is no time limit on Shinwa quests. If you have already done the quests she asks for you don't have to quit, just wait till the quests reset at midnight.
