I don't ever remember it restocking this much, and the amount of stuff that is in the shops. Between the vending machines being only 2 tokens now and the massive quantities of items stocking at once, so much is becoming worthless. It is almost scary to RS anymore. Stuff that was 15k a week ago is 400 and it cost more than that to buy. Maybe it is just me. I RS alot (ALOT), I am about to give up, it isn't any fun anymore.
Keith announced recently that shops would be stocking a certain percentage more now.
On twitter they said this:
I don't know if anyone's noticed, but restocking items in shops have been increased about 10%!
I rs to get the hoarders achievement so I just look up each thing in the search shop thing and only buy it if there is a profit shown there or I buy it from the user shop if there is not ;) mostly I try to buy the things I think are cute and then wait and see if they go up later.
I'm actually enjoying restocking for the first time in a looooong while! Not all items have to be r99's that I restock, but lately, I've been at least able to get some semi-decent ones.
personally I like the increase
I am constantly rasing rare book for next years RD and as well cuz of this i have rsed an and

I usually only RS at Subeautique nowadays, but I have noticed 6 different items stocking at once quite regularly, during peak times.
I remember price drops like that happening quite regularly when I RS'd a lot a year ago as a newbie, but since other items made up that loss, I didn't really notice it.
The RS War is coming soon as well :o Huge influx of items.
I'm glad it's increased. Restocking actually used to be fun before it got changed and things started restocking less/higher rarities didn't show very often. It was no fun restocking and nothing actually worth it showed up. I hope it stays this way.

Well I basically make all my sp from restocking esp the more common items asked for in quests. Now those items aren't worth buying and the rarer items aren't really restocking anymore than before. So instead of helping the economy I think all the extra restocking is actually undermining it. If I can't make the sp I used to then that gives me less to spend on the more expensive items like MCT and GA's. Imo the new system is putting out too much supply versus the demand.
I agree with you, I may not even buy an Ga this month because I go in get the good stuff and leave the little things behind, it used to be the little things I bulked up on and needed the autopricer, I don't know. I miss my name in gold but if I don't need the autopricer, GA is probably a waste to me
I've made millions the last few weeks restocking, i'm not complaining at all. I think, actually, that the increase in most cases is bringing the items to where they should be.
I don't mind it, but you are right, there is a LOT to restock now.. It does make the value go down a bit, but it's not necessarily a bad thing?
I like it. I'm making more restocking than I used to, and it's making quests more profitable.
I like it but I don't. Great for things like tique, but damn every shop gets crammed full of shit within 10 minutes.
Yeah, I think the main shops could cut back a little. I RS to make most of my sP and a lot of items have gone WAY down in value. Now, this is also due to people undercutting prices - I've seen items go from 15k in one shop to 1k in the next shop, which also decreases item value. It sucks, especially if that shop where it's 1k has 39 of the item. Then there's no chance of the price going back up.
lol just buy them out. that's what i would do. :)
Buying: (13 mil per)

Selling:
I normally would if they had 1 - 3 of the item but there's no way I'm buying 39 of one item.
I enjoy the fact that the shops are restocking more items--it might seem like a lot of items are decreasing in value, but the fact is that recently, there were far too many items that were extremely expensive for their rarity. Really common items shouldn't be in shops for 40k or 50k, they should be really common. So if there are more of every item in user shops, it's a good thing in my opinion.
