So I'm sitting here in my fiance's room, looking out over Baltimore.. and frankly I don't like it one bit.
Ok, so that's a lie. I like Inner Harbor, but not entirely. It's just a bit too tourist-y for me. I like the harbor itself and the galleria mostly, but again.. just a bit too tourist-y. I heard the aquarium is really neat though.
What do you guys think? How many of you have been to Baltimore (and Inner Harbor)? Did you like it?
I used to live not far from there. I liked it. :)
'GOOD MORNING BAAALTIMORE'
Seriously - I didn't even know it was a real place, I thought Hairspray made it up. x)
I get what you mean Galena D: It's very industrial... it looks like an old steel field or something, if that makes sense. And most parts of it are realllly nasty-slummy. The last time I was here with my sister and niece, we had to walk to the store to get some food and stuff, as we had used some of my fiance and his roommate's food... and I really thought some of the people walking along the road were going to attack us. x.x
Lol Kaileia; it's a real place :P
Agreed, Manifested.
Really? I've heard good things about San Francisco o.o I wasn't about to jump on a plane and head out there, but yea.
I like it! A lot! The ocean is so much different than were I live. xD And the Barnes&Noble there at Inner Harbor (pretty sure it's there) is HUUUGGE I could spend days in there. The mall is really nice, too, and the fresh seafood is great.
I do here there's some bad places in Baltimore, though I have very little experience- I've only ever passed through a place that's slummy.
The only thing I hate about it- and the whole east coast- is the dang humidity!
Inner Harbor rocks, everything else is... bleh. But Sainai Hospital rocks my socks. (My mom goes there for her chemo treatment)
Food in Maryland rocks tyvm. Best local seafood evvvvvvvverz <3

I liked walking around there and I LOOOOOOVE the aquarium to pieces. And the Hard Rock Cafe. Omnomnom. I had my prom in Baltimore at one of the hotels and then we went to the amazing Cheesecake Factory afterwords. Sometimes we'd just drive around. It's kind of creepy going into areas that are virtually abandoned. My stepfather was a truck driver so on snow days he'd take me along and he'd take loads and stuff into the Port of Baltimore, which was awesome. I got to see all the cars/tractors/vehicles lined up in those huge lots with the packing stuff still on them and I got to see the giant cranes they use to lift trailers up with to put them on the chassis up close too. Damn they're huge. Even though I don't like cities, I still miss it. And I miss waking up to Channel 13 to see if I had a snow day in the winter :'( NEVER GO TO PORT DISCOVERY. It sucks like an overpaid hooker.
OCEAN CITY IS AWESUM TOO. GO THAR.
My dad works for a truck company, so he was there a lot. Not for long, though, a few hours at most. He said it was nothing to write home about XD
I love how he says the name, it's hilarious:
Bawltimo'
Yeah, you kinda had to be there XD
