:D
My brother's giving my his acoustic guitar, and he's going to teach me how to play it. I'm a left-handed player from what I gather based on how I hold the guitar and how it's comfortable, but he's bringing me over to the normal side and he's going to teach me right-handed so he doesn't have to teach me backwards. I guess all around, it'll be easier. (unless any other left-handed players out there say this isn't the case)
I can play the saxophone, the piano (I restarted earlier this year after not playing for about five years), and I'm taking lessons for the bagpipes soon. Yeah. Bagpipes. Family thing. And though it's not an instrument, I've sung for years, and performed both with a chior and on my own.
I'm wondering what instruments you play, and how hard or easy it was to learn them. Do you have another musical talents such as writing or singing? Do you perform for friends? Perform publically? Do you and some friends have a band of your own? What do you like mot about it?
I play guitar, too! :D Well, I have for a few years then I stopped due to lack of free time. But I play piano, and my first instrument ever was the flute. I know a bit of violin just from playing guitar.
And I don't know if I know anything else. I don't really feel like trying to remember right now e_e
That's sounds like fun. I have an electric guitar and amp collecting dust in the corner because I don't know how to play it :(
I can play the clarinet, I played it for two years in grade 7 and grade 8... It was hard at first to learn clarinet because I started later than everyone and missed the introductions and I had to learn by myself. But I eventually got between and started getting 70's and 80's on clarinet playing quizzes.
I think I have a talent for writing lyrics, personally. I'm not sure if it counts, but I love to write, and when I get inspired, I write whatever out and it becomes a song or poem.
I, personally don't have a band, but a good friend of mine does and she's an amazing singer (she's one of two lead singers)...
