I see different HA's with backgrounds, or back ground items but I have no idea how to get them or what they're called. Is there a place you can buy them or are they prizes for achieving something?

Some of them are books, some are special items. If you go to your wardrobe, click "all subeta" and then go to backdrops, ground, or foreground, you can see them all.
