So I have 17 Rainbow Candy Hearts in my inventory and it won't let me turn them in like my other candy hearts. Is there a particular reason why these candy hearts are different than the others, or is this a bug of some sort?

I've contacted a few staff members to confirm this. As far as I know, Louis did not accept these candy hearts last year and I've programmed the shop with the same list. I'm trying to figure out if there is a reasoning behind it!

The rainbow candy heart was originally a donation present, so although it's been given out the past 2 (or maybe 3?) years, it's never been accepted by Louis.

How about the Candy Hearts Box? Can you check for that, too?

Thank you, I'm curious to know the reasoning as well! I went on a candy heart-buying spree so I was disappointed to realize these couldn't be turned in. I noticed they are listed under "Donation Item" as their item type, so that might have something to do with it. Also the Candy Hearts Box like mentioned!

Ahh, I see. It's strange that it was apparently given out though and yet won't be accepted? :o I had a feeling about the Hearts Box too since it implies multiple candies. Still has "candy heart" in the name though and to my knowledge was given out in the past.

The candy box was given out on profiles just like the regular hearts were. I got 17 of them a few days ago from a friend's profile, so I figured it would mean they'd be eligible for Louis' shop.

I too would like to know about the box candies since I have so many :s
